This study investigated the effects of prenatal herbal methionine supplementation on growth, puberty onset, reproductive efficiency, and blood metabolites in first-generation G1 Alpine doelings. Sixty pregnant multiparous goats (G0), each with at least three parturitions, were assigned during last trimester pregnancy to either (H-MET-G0; 1% Optimethione®; n = 30) or a control group (CTL-G0; 30). Only female offspring (G1 doelings) studied (H-MET-G1:19; CTL-G1:25) from weaning (45 days old) 10 months (first breeding). doelings weighed monitored weekly for metabolites, IGF-1, insulin, progesterone. Ovulation was induced using vasectomized bucks, followed by breeding intact bucks. Postweaning age (H-MET-G1:216 vs. CTL-G1:229 days), live weight (H-MET-G1:20.5 CTL-G1:21.0 kg) did not significantly differ (p > 0.05). Age conception negatively correlated < 0.001). Research method: Forty-nine women pregnancy, with a mean age of 31.08 ± 4.90 years old, were asked fill in Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire (PPAQ) assess their levels, Food Frequency (FFQ) Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) evaluate different indices. Results: Variance analysis showed that pregnancy trimester’s effect on various indices BIA was statistically significant. Moreover, results pregnant consume median 2135 kcal 2012.10 mL water per day, regardless trimester. The Pearson correlation unveiled significant positive between energy (r = 0.795, p < 0.001), 0.759, fat 0.535, 0.029), fibers 0.310, 0.001) According PPAQ women, categorized based trimester, third trimester more sedentary than those second first trimesters, respectively.
