Background. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Related Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection during pregnancy was associated with a number of adverse outcomes, including miscarriage, preeclampsia, preterm birth, and stillbirth. The virus persistence can last for long time, the consequences previous coronavirus are currently under study. Objectives. This study aimed to establish clinical features course childbirth in women history asymptomatic disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods. conducted Regional Perinatal Center N3 Turkestan city, Kazakhstan. A total 229 participants were enrolled comprising individuals (n = 133, exposed group) from August September 2021 COVID-19 without one same period 96, unexposed group). Results. There is statistically significant strong association between development oligohydramnios (φ 0.743, p < 0.001), medium strength presence anemia 0.254, abnormal placenta 0.011), cord entanglement 0.343, 0.000), low birth weight 0.356, 0.001) stillbirth 0.293, 0.001). Conclusions. past pregnant has long-term form oligohydramnios; and, as result, perinatal outcomes

Prenatal maternal immunization is an effective tool to protect mothers and infants from poor health outcomes due infectious diseases. We provide overview of the rationale for use prenatal vaccines, discuss immunologic environment maternal-fetal interface including impact vaccines prenatally subsequently on infant's immune response, review currently recommended in pregnancy landscape future vaccination. This aims understanding recent history progress made field highlight importance continued research development into new pregnant populations.

The COVID-19 pandemic, driven by the rapid evolution of SARS-CoV-2 virus, presents ongoing challenges to global public health. is characterized rapidly evolving mutations, especially in (but not limited to) spike protein, complicating predictions about its evolutionary trajectory. These mutations have significantly affected transmissibility, immune evasion, and vaccine efficacy, leading multiple pandemic waves with over half a billion cases seven million deaths globally. Despite several strategies, from development administration design availability antivirals, including monoclonal antibodies, already having been employed, persistent circulation virus emergence new variants continue result high case numbers fatalities. In past four years, immense research efforts contributed much our understanding viral pathogenesis mechanism, syndrome, host-microbe interactions, effective vaccines, diagnostic tools, treatments. focus this review provide comprehensive analysis functional impact on diagnosis, treatments, effectiveness. We further discuss safety pregnancy implications hybrid immunity long-term protection against infection, as well latest developments pan-coronavirus nasal formulations, emphasizing need for continued surveillance, research, adaptive health strategies response race.
