Background Persons with physical disabilities are more likely to suffer from psychological symptoms and inferiority feelings, social support plays an important role in improving those symptoms. However, the interaction between symptoms, feelings is yet be understood. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted investigate anxiety, depression, among individuals a Chinese sample. The questionnaire included Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7, Patient Health Questionnaire 9, Self-designed Disability Questionnaire, Social Support Rating Scale including three dimensions: subjective support, objective utilization of support. Results Out 1,453 respondents disabilities, 49.7, 60.4, 62.5% reported experiencing respectively. Factors such as time since identification comorbidities, daily travel, interaction, internet use, were found associated anxiety or depression physically disabled individuals. Subjective which partly mediated effect on by 37.4% 28.7%. Conclusion This highlights importance addressing well-being addition their rehabilitation. Psychological intervention strategies should focus reducing particularly vulnerable groups.

Since the end of 2019, COVID-19 pandemic has had serious wide-ranging effects on academic, occupational and other daily activities. Like types institutions, schools are facing unprecedented challenges. Students may face a variety adverse consequences, including sleep disturbances school bullying, if they unable to adjust current learning living environment. This study explored bullying.A total 5782 middle students were enrolled in this multi-stage, cross-sectional (3071 before 2711 during pandemic). The pre-pandemic group mean age 14.9 ± 1.73, 14.75 1.47. Three models set up using binary logistic regression for confounding variables (gender, type, alcohol consumption, smoking, playing violent video games).All bullying victimization perpetration (physical, verbal, social property bullying) more common than pandemic. In terms victimization, (crude odds ratio [OR]: 2.398, 95% CI: 2.014-2.854, p < 0.001; model 2 adjusted OR: 2.344, 1.966-2.795, 3 2.818, 2.292-3.464, 0.001) increased most. perpetration, verbal 3.007, 2.448-3.693, <0.001; 2.954, 2.399-3.637, OR:3.345, 2.703-4.139, most.This corroborate significance traditional suggests that we should further consider establish improve response prevention mechanisms public health emergencies such as

Objectives: To assess differences in demographics, incidence, and cause of nasal bone fractures (NBFs) between pre–coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) COVID-19 eras. Methods: The National Electronic Injury Surveillance System was queried for adult NBF. Two sample t tests Wald χ 2 were used to identify changes across the 2012 period 2020 2021 (age, sex, race, location, disposition, product). During COVID-19, there decrease sport-associated NBFs, such as basketball [2.36% 1.71%–3.27%) versus 5.21% 4.20%–6.45%), 0.01] baseball [1.18% 0.82%–1.69%) 2.22% 1.80%–2.74%), <0.01], but an increase fall (66.34% 75.02%), alcohol (7.04% 12.89%), drug-associated (0.47% 5.70%) (all 0.001).
