The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant and detrimental impact on daily life. However, research the prevalence pandemic-related risk factors of sadness, sadness-related counseling, sleep duration remains limited. aim this review paper was to examine association counseling for time by analyzing 13-year trends using data from nationally representative survey three million adults. We used nationwide large scaled 2,842,431 Korean adult data. were evaluated with 95% confidence interval trend compared before during pandemic. During period 2009 2021, total individuals in South Korea included study (1,320,239 [46.4%] male; 19-39 years, 746,572 [26.3%]). sadness remained stable pandemic, but slope positive showing an increase (βdiff, 0.022; CI, 0.015-0.030). who been counseled gradually increased less than expected -0.062; -0.078 -0.046). average adults showed decline 0.023; 0.022-0.024). This is first long-term, large-scale, population-based comprehensively analyze changes prolonged among Our suggests that, individual policy strategy psycho-physiological aspect should be addressed as public issue.
