This study evaluates the effectiveness of virtual reality-based cognitive behavioral group therapy (VR-CBGT) in improving emotional well-being and quality life individuals with Parkinson's disease. A randomized controlled trial was conducted 2023 at Roozbeh Hospital, Tehran, 90 patients. Participants were randomly assigned to an intervention receiving 12 VR-CBGT sessions over three months a control standard medical care without psychological intervention. Emotional assessed using Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS), measured Disease Questionnaire-39 (PDQ-39) before after Data analyzed Multivariate Analysis Covariance (MANCOVA) SPSS-25. The demonstrated significant improvement (HADS-total score reduction 7.2 points, P < 0.001) (PDQ-39 total 12.5 %, = 0.002) compared group. explained 18 % variance 26 life. These findings highlight as effective complementary for enhancing health overall immersive nature VR fosters engagement facilitates processing, supporting its integration into multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
