Alga cokelat merupakan salah satu sumber antioksidan yang dapat berkontribusi dalam mempromosikan fungsi kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kombinasi jenis alga dan pelarut terbaik berdasarkan parameter kapasitas antioksidan, toksisitas pada sel Vero cemaran bakteri memengaruhi simplisia selama 30 hari masa simpan. Sargassum aquifolium Padina australis dikumpulkan dari Pantai Sanur titik surut terendah di zona intertidal. Ekstraksi dilakukan menggunakan tiga pelarut, yaitu etanol, metanol, akuades. Ekstrak diukur antioksidannya metode DPPH. menunjukkan IC50 dengan kategori kuat dilanjutkan pengujian sitotoksisitas. Pengujian waktu simpan hari. Hasil ekstrak etanol S. P. (rasio 1:10) memiliki persentase rendemen sebesar 3,72% 0,935±0,003 mg/L GAEAC nilai 89,03 μg/mL (kategori kuat). Kombinasi konsentrasi 382,30 lemah). Severe inflammation in joints caused by the detrimental effects of immune system is termed Rheumatoid arthritis. The unconstrained proliferation cells and pro-inflammatory cytokines deteriorates Synovium which secretes synovial fluid to lubricate cartilage. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are only therapeutics for treating rheumatoid arthritis, long-term intake causes serious side on organs. Fucoidan, a sulfated polysaccharide found cell walls brown algae shows bioactive potential. In our study, fucoidan was extracted from Padina pavonica (PD), Stoechospermum marginatum (StM), Spatolossum macrodontum (SpM), Dictyota bartayresiana (DD), Turbinaria decurrens (TD) evaluated anti-arthritis activities. Fucoidan activity vitro using RAW 264.7 macrophage lines, followed vivo Wistar male rats. Nitric oxide suppression comparatively high TD (IC50 − 12.93 µg/mL). Chlamydomonas reinhardtii polysaccharides (CRPs) are bioactive compounds derived from C. reinhardtii, yet their potential in cancer therapy remains largely unexplored. This study optimized the ultrasound-assisted extraction conditions using response surface methodology and proceeded with isolation purification of these polysaccharides. The optimal were identified as a sodium hydroxide concentration 1.5%, ultrasonic power 200 W, solid-to-liquid ratio 1:25 g/mL, an treatment time 10 min, water bath duration 2.5 h, yielding actual rate 5.71 ± 0.001%, which closely aligns predicted value 5.639%. Infrared analysis revealed that CRP-1 CRP-2 α-pyranose structures containing furoic acid, while CRP-3 CRP-4 β-pyranose acid. Experimental results demonstrated all four purified inhibited proliferation cervical (HeLa) hepatoma (HepG-2) colon (HCT-116) cells, showing most significant inhibitory effect on cancer, achieving inhibition rates 60.58 0.88% 40.44 1.44%, respectively, significantly reducing migration HeLa cells. In recent years, using biological materials to synthesize metallic nanoparticles has emerged as an efficient and cost-effective approach. This work synthesized silver (AgNPs) from Caulerpa racemosa (Cr) - Polysaccharide (Ps). UV–vis spectroscopy examined the synthesised Cr-Ps-AgNPs, revealing a colour shift surface plasmon resonance peak at 450 nm. The Fourier transform infrared is used detect functional groups within polysaccharide investigate nanoparticle interactions. The aim is to explore new depressants for achieving the efficient separation of apatite and dolomite.
