Abstract Microalgae’s adaptability and resilience to Earth’s diverse environments have evolved these photosynthetic microorganisms into a biotechnological source of industrially relevant physiological functions biometabolites. Despite this, microalgae-based industries only exploit handful species. This lack biodiversity hinders the expansion microalgal industry. Microalgal bioprospecting, searching for novel biological algal resources with new properties, remains low throughput time-consuming endeavour due inefficient workflows that rely on non-selective sampling, monoalgal culture status outdated, non-standardized characterization techniques. review will highlight importance bioprospecting critically explore commonly employed methodologies. We also current advances driving next generation smart focusing transdisciplinary methodologies potential enable high-throughput biodiscoveries. From sea shores to the abysses of deep ocean, marine ecosystems have provided humanity with valuable medicinal resources. The use organisms is discussed in ancient pharmacopoeias different times and geographic regions still deeply rooted traditional medicine. Thanks present-day, large-scale bioprospecting rigorous screening for bioactive metabolites, ocean coming back as an untapped resource natural compounds therapeutic potential. This renewed interest drugs propelled by a burgeoning research field investigating molecular mechanisms which newly identified intervene pathophysiology human diseases. ABSTRACT This study introduces a novel method for monitoring microalgae growth and evaluating mass transfer efficiency in photobioreactors, specifically under non‐limiting controlled conditions. By leveraging data on elemental composition, gas rates, oxygen production rate, the estimates biomass assesses gas‐liquid coefficients. The approach uses indirect measurements to infer critical parameters, including concentration, total inorganic carbon, nitrogen levels. Results demonstrate accurate predictions of carbon dynamics, along with effective characterization offers robust tool optimizing photobioreactor performance enhancing process control.

The growing problem of antibiotic resistance calls for a paradigm shift in medication discovery. Fortunately, the enormous oceans, home to an incredible diversity life, provide viable solution: marine metabolites. These unusual chemicals have potential treating wide range diseases. This present study investigates great using these marine-derived gems disease management techniques. The purpose of the study was to assess a phenolic compound that extracted from brown seaweed Enteromorpha intestinalis (Linn.), Nees (1820) for its antibacterial activities on different bacterial pathogens fish illnesses. Hexane and methanol were utilized extract bioactive compounds seaweed. Phytochemical analysis methnaolic extracts have revealed presence carbohydrates glycosides, saponins, alkaloids, amino acids, flavonoids, fixed oil fat, phenol compounds, tannins, steroids. fish, including Providencia vermicola, Aeromonas hydrophila, Vibrio harveyi, caviae, targeted assessment. Among them, methanolic crude fraction-1 E. shown maximum activity against A. hydrophila (22 ± 0.13 33 0.56 µg/mL). Column chromatography employed isolate effective fraction, while FT-IR HPLC characterization. phytochemical confirmed various in both extracts. demonstrated efficacy beside tested pathogens. functional groups associated with polymeric structures extracts, alcohols, phenols, aromatics, alkyl halides, aliphatic amines, alkynes, alkenes.
