Our study aimed to examine the ascorbic acid (AA) status of Ukrainian population during wartime conditions. Ascorbic is one most essential vitamins in human nutrition. It possesses antioxidant properties and plays a vital role maintaining bodily functions. Materials methods. A total 408 individuals were surveyed, including 234 local residents, 66 internally displaced persons (IDPs), 108 servicemen Armed Forces Ukraine (AFU). AA levels assessed using lingual assay with Tillman's reagent. Statistical methods employed for data analysis. Results. statistically significant difference was found saturation among residents normal compared insufficiency deficiency, IDPs insufficiency, AFU deficiency.
