Abstract The synthesis of efficient and stable Pt alloy catalysts is a major challenge for the commercialization PEMFC. Herein, we report PtCo/C(N) electrocatalyst prepared by Na 2 CO 3 ‐assisted urea liquid‐phase deposition strategy as an cathodic oxygen reduction reaction electrocatalyst, test its activity stability in rotating disc electrode single‐cell. membrane with PtCo/C(N)‐800 °C catalyst has output voltage 0.652 V at A/cm maximum power density 1.501 W/cm , which are 36 mV 81 higher than those commercial Pt/C catalyst, respectively. In addition, mass half‐wave potential 2.44 times 50 Pt/C, After 5000 voltammetric cycles, only lose 35 A/g 9 mV, XPS results show that binding energy 4f positively shifted relative to Pt/C‐TKK, d‐band center decreases, leading weak chemical interaction between oxygen‐containing intermediate surface conducive improvement ORR catalyst.
