With the rapid advancement of digital technology, application augmented reality (AR) in field education has emerged as a focal point research aimed at enhancing learning efficiency and experience through innovative interactive environments. This study focuses on AR technology education. The goal is to address key technical issues present existing environments promote their widespread adoption educational settings. An analysis current conducted, focusing its potential enhance learners’ motivation comprehension capabilities. Purpose: Immersive simulation is an innovative training approach in health education that enhances student learning. This study examined its impact on engagement, motivation, and academic performance nursing midwifery students.Methods: A comprehensive systematic search was meticulously conducted 4 reputable databases—Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct—following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines. The research protocol pre-registered PROSPERO registry, ensuring transparency rigor. quality included studies assessed using Medical Education Research Study Quality Instrument.Results: Out 90 identified studies, 11 were present review, involving 1,090 participants. Four out 5 observed high post-test engagement scores intervention groups. Additionally, 6 evaluated motivation found higher motivational groups than control traditional approaches. Furthermore, among 8 during immersive training, reported significant differences (P<0.001) favor students groups.Conclusion: simulation, as demonstrated by this study, has a potential to enhance performance, surpassing teaching methods. underscores urgent need future various contexts better integrate educational into curricula, inspiring hope improved

Virtual reality (VR) has increasingly been used in several disciplines, including nursing, a profession high demand that is now facing shortage. This study investigated the effectiveness and efficacy of VR hybrid training over traditional (TR) methods. Sixteen college students were recruited randomly assigned to get 100% TR or 50% (VR50). Technological advancements have fueled the integration of virtual reality into nursing education, presenting innovative teaching modalities. Nonetheless, a conspicuous gap exists in understanding influencing factors that impact quality experiences, thereby challenging educators creating optimal learning ecosystems tailored to curricula. Adopting Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines, comprehensive search electronic databases including PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Web Science, Cochrane Library was performed. Forty-five studies met inclusion criteria, revealing broad spectrum affecting experience quality. Human-centric encompassed cybersickness, accommodation individuals who wear glasses, left-handed, elderly, women users. System-centric issues are mainly limited immersion inadequate interaction. The synthesis existing literature underscores multifaceted nature education. Recommendations include enhancing interaction, considering user diversity design, fostering international collaborations content standardization.

Background Developing self-directed learning in undergraduate nursing students affects not only their and lives, but also future professional development the quality of practice clinical nursing. Methods A total 662 from one university China were selected participants survey, utilizing stratified random sampling September 2023 December 2023. Of these, an impressive 639 (96.52%) provided valid responses.
