Abstract Double‐layered hydrogels are organized into different nanostructured layers and the preferred material for various in vitro vivo therapeutic applications. Hydrogels extensively employed several domains, such as water treatment biomedicine. Because of hydrogels' unique potentials like their tissue resemblance ease processing, significant progress is achieved these domains. However, based on a thorough examination hydrogel microstructures, it difficult conventional homogeneous to concurrently address demands due growth necessities controlled drug delivery, cartilage repair, cell encapsulation, other utilities. Thankfully, research heterogeneous dual‐layered has developed now remarkable area engineering. Flexible conductive hydrogel strain sensors are gaining popularity due to their exceptional stretchability, sensitivity, and potential for wearable devices. However, widespread use is hindered by significant issues, such as poor electrical conductivity weak response time. To address these challenges, new hydrogels based on guar gum, borax, glycerol have been fabricated via a green synthesis technique. These were reinforced with functionalised multiwalled carbon nanotubes (f-MWCNTs) silver nanoparticle decorated (AgNP-MWCNTs). The resulting exhibited self-healing capability of 83.2% effective sensing gauge factor 6.58. incorporation AgNP-MWCNTs significantly improved the up 3.05 ± 0.02 S m− 1, thanks tunnelling effect between f-MWCNTs synergic interaction AgNP-MWCNTs. Moreover, displayed excellent durability, enduring 3000 cycles tensile loading unloading at 50% strain. This innovative design principles offers straightforward, cost-effective, environmentally friendly process producing high-performance soft materials. materials hold promise various practical applications, including artificial skins, flexible electronics, healthcare monitoring, highlighting high relevance impact this research.
