The thermal performance of a flat plate solar collector (FPSC) is critical indicator that depends on the environment, operational parameters, and dimensions. This study examines impact size improvement mechanisms. Firstly, numerical simulation models are introduced as foundation for optimization research. involves analyzing flow resistance microchannels defining their structural parameters. Furthermore, experimental tests were conducted stainless steel (S/S FPSC) with best design parameters to validate accuracy mathematical model during phase. results indicate increasing width microchannel height corrugations can effectively enhance S/S FPSC. momentary efficiency projected reach remarkable 86.10% under ideal circumstances. To determine the optimal baffle's type (longitudinal and transverse baffles) number of baffles, two computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models for solar air heaters (SAHs) were developed by using "ANSYS Fluent" software. The results closely aligned with experimental data. As width channel in SAHs baffles was narrower than those longitudinal under same heat transfer coefficient greater baffles.
