Engineered substances that demonstrate superior properties compared with conventional materials are called advanced materials. Thermal energy storage systems based on phase change (PCMs) offer an eco-friendly solution to reduce fuel and electricity consumption. PCMs compounds can store thermal in the form of latent heat during transitions. Green synthesis core/shell composite is environmentally friendly method for producing these materials, focusing reducing consumption, minimizing use harmful chemicals, utilizing biodegradable or sustainable methods typically involve natural solvent-free techniques, green solvents, biomimetic approaches, energy-efficient processes. This review explores like techniques production, highlighting their role regulation buildings. Special attention given derived from biomass be used as precursors PCM synthesis.
