Abstract A porous clay membrane is fabricated using natural ball and sintered at various temperatures ranging from 800 to 1100 °C. The properties of the are characterized, including shrinkage, water absorption, porosity, density, compressive strength, pure permeation, turbidity removal aquaculture wastewater. clear trend observed findings. As sintering temperature increases, permeation decreases 62.25% 43.67%, 57% 43%, 4356 2235 L h −1 m −2 bar , respectively. Conversely, show an opposite correlation, increasing 9.09% 18.18%, 0.84 1.0 kg −3 0.95 4.11 MPa, 79% 94%, In summary, sample 1000 °C emerges as optimal choice for wastewater filtration. It strikes a balance between desired density strength while maintaining appropriate porosity level exceptional capacity. This cost‐effective ceramic filter exhibits promising in producing effluent.

CDs/TiO2 nanohybrids were synthesized and tested for photocatalytic H2 production from aqueous media through simulated solar light-driven reactions. Firstly, three different types of CDs prepared green methods, specifically hydrothermal treatment microwave irradiation, using citric acid urea as precursors in varying molar ratios. After a multi-step purification procedure, impurity-free obtained. The as-synthesized thoroughly characterized UV-Vis, FT-IR, PL spectroscopy, along with HR-TEM. results revealed that the size optical physicochemical properties can be tailored by selecting precursors' ratio synthetic approach. heterostructured photocatalysts formed solvothermally analyzed UV-Vis/DRS, XPS techniques, which confirmed effective incorporation improved TiO2. use sacrificial reagents is among most common strategies enhancing water processes; herein, ethanol was selected liquid organic hydrogen carrier. A maximum rate 0.906 μmol H2/min achieved, while recyclability study demonstrated photocatalyst maintained stable performance during multiple cycles reuse. Thus, optimizing synthesis conditions resulted creation environmentally friendly reusable photocatalysts.

The current review examines various methods for preparing photocatalytic materials based on ceramic substrates, with a focus incorporating metal oxides such as ZnO, CuO, and MgO. This study compares traditional mixing, co-precipitation, sol–gel, autoclave synthesizing these materials. Kaolin-based ceramics (DD3 DD3 38% ZrO2) from Guelma, Algeria, were used substrates. highlights the effects of different preparation structural, morphological, compositional properties resulting photocatalysts. Additionally, potential degradation organic dyes, specifically Orange II, was evaluated. Results indicated that ceramic/ZnO/CuO ceramic/MgO powders prepared via mixing co-precipitation techniques exhibited significantly faster rates under visible light than Cu layers deposited substrates using solution gradient processes. enhancement attributed to increased effective surface area size spherical nanoparticles obtained through methods, which facilitated accelerated pollutant absorption. ease cost-effectiveness robust are advantageous applications due their straightforward removal after filtration. Notably, DD3Z/MgO demonstrated superior catalytic activity, achieving complete dye in just 10 min, whereas DD3Z/ZnO-CuO achieved 93.6% 15 min. experiments kaolin-based instead yielded maximum decomposition rate 77.76% over 6 h ZnO thin method.
