The paper manufacturing process produces liquid and gaseous alternative fuels, as well solid wastes. These can be subsequently treated through chemical processing, oxidation, thermal activation, resulting in adsorbent materials with CO2 adsorption capacities. valorisation of black liquor waste from was achieved a catalytic pyrolysis using two catalysts previously prepared house (Cu-Zn-MCM-41 Ni-SBA-16). HCl-treated material, Ni-SBA-16-catalysed pyrolysis, selected for use tests it had the highest specific surface area (224.06 m2/g) pore volume (0.28 cm3/g). experimental setup linked to gas chromatograph order evaluate efficiency binary mixture consisting 81% 19% N2. With capacity 1.61 mmol/g, separation 99.78%, recovery yield 90.02%, concluded that developed material Ni-SBA16-catalysed HCl treatment represents viable solution pyrolytic removal reduction greenhouse gases.

This study investigates the reactivity kinetics of biochar from biomass. The biochars were obtained by pyrolyzing peanut shells (PNS_800), cashew nut (CNS_800), and millet stalks (MS_800) at 800 °C in a fixed bed reactor. chemical composition samples shows that silicon (Si), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg) are major elements (PNS_800) while (CNS_800) (MS_800). activated CO2 (200 Nml/min) atmosphere temperatures 1123 K, 1173 1223 K under atmospheric pressure. random pore model (RPM) modified (MRPM) used to correlate profiles versus carbon conversion determine kinetic parameters. It was observed increases as temperature increases, attaining least three times than those corresponding K. Furthermore, increase is more pronounced with MS_800. RPM cannot follow experimental all samples. However, better fitting when using MRPM model. activation energies (Ea) distributed range 98.11–148.46 kJ/mol pre-exponential factors (k0) 19.31–249.53 s-1. for model, lower energy factor CNS_800. Ea et k0 well evaluated PNS_800 MS_800 coefficient determination 99.76%. proposed could be describe biomass coal.

The design of composites offers extensive opportunities for controlling parameters and utilizing diverse materials, including those sourced from recycling or waste streams. In this study, biocomposites were developed using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pomace derived oilseed plants such as evening primrose, gold pleasure, rapeseed, sunflower seeds, mixed in a 1:1 ratio. These evaluated their structural, mechanical, morphological, thermal properties, well vulnerability to overgrowth by cellulolytic fungi. results indicate that incorporating plant into HDPE reduces stability while increasing water absorption thickness swelling. Additionally, the showed enhanced fungal growth, which may improve biodegradability. Notably, PE_EP composite, primrose pomace, did not show significant differences surface roughness MOE compared pure polyethylene. case PE_R an increase was observed maintaining MOR parameter PE. Although generally mechanical properties lower polyethylene, findings suggest with further optimization, oil can be valuable raw material producing suitable various industrial applications, thereby contributing sustainability effective recycling.

In order to achieve the resource utilization of waste polyester (WPT), WPT based activated carbon (WPT-AC) was prepared by ZnCl2 activation high-temperature pyrolysis method.
