Abstract
Ulcerative
colitis
(UC)
is
a
chronic
inflammatory
bowel
disease

etiology.
Several
conventional
treatments
for
UC
such
as
corticosteroids,
immunosuppressive
agents,

necrosis
factor
antagonist,
integrin
blockers,
and
interleukin

are
available
but
