High-quality limestone, as a nonrenewable resource, is decreasing with the maintenance and construction of asphalt pavements. Meanwhile, due to growth shell farming industry, great amount waste shells produced annually, which are mainly disposed in manner stacking, landfill, or discarding into sea directly, leading serious environmental pollution. This research used mussel, pectinid, oncomelania, oyster raw materials prepare four fillers, aiming at substituting mineral resources recycling same time. The mastics were prepared by mixing base SBS-modified fillers under different filler-asphalt ratios, respectively, limestone adopted control groups. physical rheological properties five evaluated, chemical composition microstructure measured investigate acting mechanism between asphalt. Clarifying the action mechanism of steel slag and waste tire crumb rubber in asphalt mixtures is great significance realising solid resourcing improving road quality. This study focused on adhesion behaviour mixture from mixing to application explored SBS/crumb composite modified (SBS/CR CMA) multiple scales. The results show that SBS/CR CMA exhibit excellent properties during application, electrostatic force plays a leading role whole process. contribution 3CaO·SiO2 > 2CaO·SiO2.
