Boehmite is an aluminum oxyhydroxide (AlO(OH)) and one of bauxite’s main mineral phases. This highly valued as important source for the metallurgical industry. However, formation synthetic boehmite has been observed in water treatment when anodes are used electrocoagulation. occurs flocs that capture impurities from water, but removing these a slow process. Therefore, froth-flotation method was employed present study to float boehmite. achieved by evaluating particle size boehmite, generating microbubbles, using anionic collector system novel experimental setup. The results show surfactants sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) potassium oleate (PO) favor recovery different sizes, with favored related bubble generated. It noted increasing SDS concentration enabled microbubbles recover up 95% particles diameters less than 30 microns.
