In
this
study,
manganese
selenide/copper
oxide
nanocomposites
anchored
on
multi-walled
carbon
nanotubes
(MnSe/CuO/MWCNTs)
were
fabricated
with
different
ratios
and
their
characteristic
properties
evaluated.
Microscopic
images
show
the
decoration
of
CuO
MnSe
without
changing
morphology.
UV–Vis
analysis
indicates
that
best
optical
MnSe/CuO/MWCNT
nanomaterials
via
2.06
eV
as
a
band
gap
energy.
The
photocatalytic
ability
was
evaluated
by
decomposition
rhodamine
B
(RhB)
(97.23%)
malachite
green
(MG)
(100.0%)
under
visible
LED
irradiation
within
45
min.
Furthermore,
antibacterial
activity
prepared
nanosamples
investigated
against
Escherichia
coli
Staphylococcus
aureus
strains.

Abstract
Extensive
research
is
being
carried
out
on
the
degradation
of
water
pollutants
using
various
strategies
to
overcome
global
crisis.
In
present
study,
xerogels
as
a
better
alternative
utilized
metal
oxides
for
photocatalytic
toxic
such
dyes.
Xerogels
polyaniline
(PANI)
and
polypyrrole
(PPy)
are
synthesized
phytic
acid
dopant
well
cross‐linker
in
weight
ratios
1:1,
1:2,
2:1
via
simple
chemical
oxidative
polymerization.
The
analyzed
their
spectral,
morphological,
thermal,
optical
properties
FTIR,
UV–vis,
XRD,
SEM,
TGA
techniques.
also
tested
activity
against
textile
dyes
–
Methylene
Blue
(MB),
Alizarin
Red
S,
(ARS),
Rhodamine
B
(RhB),
Methyl
Orange

all
composite
xerogels,
PANI/PPy‐2/1
showed

efficiency

The
dual
Z-scheme
heterojunction
CuBi2O4/Bi2Sn2O7/Sn3O4(CBS)
was
successfully
constructed
through
in
situ
growth
methods,
and
its
photocatalytic
performance
evaluated
via
degradation
of
tetracycline
hydrochloride
under
visible
light.
Out
all
samples,
CBS-2
exhibited
the
highest
activity,
with
an
apparent
rate
constant
2.34,
20.16,
44.17
times
that
Bi2Sn2O7,
CuBi2O4,
Sn3O4,
respectively.
