A feeding trial was conducted to assess the impacts of dietary astaxanthin from wall-broken Haematococcus pluvialis (WBHPA) on growth performance, antioxidant status, immune response, and intestinal health rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Six experimental diets were formulated with various concentrations WBHPA, ranging 0 8.4 g/kg (containing 125 mg/kg astaxanthin). Each diet fed triplicate groups (mean initial weight 561 g) twice daily for 9 consecutive weeks. The survival rate feed intake fish exhibited no significant differences among (P > 0.05). Microplastic (MP) contamination in aquafeed poses a significant risk to fish health and safety. This study evaluated the effectiveness of microencapsulated natural antioxidant, astaxanthin (AX), mitigating adverse effects dietary MPs rainbow trout fry. In this study, we investigated the body characteristics, carotenoid composition, and nutritional quality of Eriocheir sinensis with different hepatopancreas redness (a*). We distributed crabs into two groups based on a* values compared their chroma, protein, lipid, total sugar, amino acid, fatty acid content via paired t-test.
