A research was conducted to study the effect of starter artificial feeds enriched with dry biomass methanotrophic bacteria ( Methylococcus capsulatus ) and a complex fatty acids on growth, survival, fish productivity, feed conversion efficiency biochemical composition tissues juveniles broad whitefish Coregonus nasus ). Using an experimental diet (10 % microbial protein, linseed oil, premix drug “Arfit”) made it possible increase growth rate whitefish. The final weight in experiment 17.2% higher than control. condition factor 3.1% compared control, productivity 13.0% higher, there 4.0 decrease costs for ichthyomass gain. At end experiments content crude fat protein by 12.4% 3.0%, respectively, total amino whitefish, when were added diet, increased 5.4%

Aiming to investigate the impact of different stocking densities on ability Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) utilize Chlorella sorokiniana (CHL), a 3 × 2 factorial design experiment was used in this study. Specifically, fed with two dietary protein sources (fishmeal (FM) and CHL) at low (LSD, 100 per m³), medium (MSD, 200 m³) high (HSD, 300 for 8 weeks. The growth performance resistance Vibrio parahaemolyticus (1.0 107 CFU mL) decreased increase density, but CHL improved result. Differences between FM groups V. were significant only under high-density conditions (P < 0.05). Significant interactions density source found activities catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) phenol oxidase (PO), contents malondialdehyde (MDA) hepatopancreas intestinal amylase, most which significantly Analysis 16S rDNA sequencing showed that increased alpha diversity microbiota, inhibited colonization pathogenic bacteria enhanced abundance beneficial bacteria. Transcriptomic results densities, differentially expressed genes (DEGs) vs group mostly upregulated primarily enriched immune metabolic related pathways including Toll, deficiency (Imd) glycolysis-gluconeogenesis pathways. Pearson correlation analysis revealed top ten genus level markedly DEGs, also more detected situations. In conclusion, has great potential as novel intensive farming shrimp.

There is growing interest in the use of single cell proteins (SCPs) derived from methanotrophic bacteria for inclusion aquafeed to reduce reliance on other, potentially less sustainable proteins. This two‐part experiment aimed investigate first (i) dose effect replacing soy protein concentrate with SCP Australian hybrid abalone diets ( Haliotis laevigata rubra ) and second, (ii) potential improved palatability by using commercially produced liquid hydrolysate (PH). was assessed a 2 × factorial experimental design. The were formulated be iso‐proteic (~40% crude as fed) iso‐energetic (~18 MJ kg −1 fed). (SCP 0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 0% + PH, 20% PH) fed (~9.25 g initial weight) once daily evening 94 days apparent satiation. growth performance feed utilization up 10% comparable control; however, there significant reduction most parameters at highest 20%. In second experiment, decline measured energy retention SCP, concomitantly lower biological value. Positively, improvements digestibility diet inclusion. no impact PH or intake. No effects observed digestive enzyme activity α ‐amylase, lipase, trypsin) examined among treatments. Considering these results collectively, maximum recommended meal should abalone. Reasons may related palatability; this remains fully confirmed.
