Abstract Context Recently, prioritize has been given to using natural phytogenic or nano compounds as growth promoters and immunostimulants in fish diets an alternative antibiotics. Aims The main propose of this trial was determine the impact supplementing with spirulina curcumin nanoparticles on performance health indicators Nile tilapia fingerlings. Methods In a 56-day feeding trial, 180 fingerlings were assigned into three groups, follows: 1st, control group, 2nd, Spirulina platensis (SP; 5 g kg -1 diet) 3rd, (CUR-NPs; 30 mg diet). Key results Incorporating SP CUR-NPs significantly improved performance, body chemical analysis, blood biochemical hematological indices, digestive enzyme activities, antioxidant immunostimulant features compared control. Conclusion Fortified efficiently boost productivity Implications research introduces new practical solutions for applying safe feed additives alternatives antibiotics farming.

Abstract Curcumin, a polyphenol, targets multiple signaling molecules and shows activity at the cellular level, supporting its various health benefits. Thereafter, present study examines effects of different doses dietary curcumin on growth indices, feed efficiency, serum metabolites, redox (oxidation) status, immunity, histological assessment, antioxidant-related genes in red tilapia ( Oreochromis sp, aureus x O. mossambicus ). A total 1200 with an average weight 19.1±0.03 g were distributed 12 cement ponds (3×3.5×1m). Each treatment was assigned three pounds n =100 replicates). For 60 days, fish fed baseline diets containing 0, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 curcumin/kg diet. The treated showed increased body SGR (specific rate) compared to T0 group P <0.05). Curcumin diet significantly improved gain, percentages, FCR (feed conversion ratio), dose-dependent effect < 0.05). supplementation no influence intake, mortality, or survival rate >0.05). curcumin-treated groups tissue structure hepatocytes, pancreatic lumens, hepatic blood sinusoids, intestine layers, particularly mucosal layer. T0.8 had reduced liver enzymes (AST ALT) greater protein albumin levels T0.6 lower MDA than other demonstrated higher antioxidant indices (CAT, GPx, SOD) basal administration resulted significant improvements IgM lysosome All supplemented considerably <0.05) SOD, CAT, GPx mRNA control group. Consequently, administering 0.6–0.8 g/kg sp.) may improve fish’s growth, health, composition, response.

Abstract Aquaculture is playing a pivotal role in meeting the growing global request for seafood products. One of important aspects aquaculture management using high-quality ingredients to improve performance fish and crustaceans. main priorities nutrition scientists over past decades partially or totally replace meal (FM) with different plant protein ingredients. Furthermore, proteins contain anti-nutritional components, which poses drawback their use feed. Therefore, effectively utilize components feeds, it necessary reduce factors. Recently, exogenous enzymes as feed additives are gaining interest aquafeed industry increase nutritive values reasonable solution FM substitution, leading enhanced nutrient retention, growth profits stakeholders. The present review will discuss potential various quality more sustainable practices
