BPA and its analogues are facing increasingly stringent regulations restricting their use due to the increasing knowledge of harmful effects. It is therefore expected that novel alternatives will replace them in plastic products, cans thermal paper circumvent restrictions imposed by legislation. This raises concerns about safety "BPA-free" as they contain substitutes whose has not been sufficiently assessed prior market introduction. The regulatory agencies have recognised BPAP, BPBP, BPC2, BPE, BPFL, BPG, BPP, BPPH, BPS-MAE, BPS-MPE, BP-TMC, BPZ BTUM, D-90, UU PF201 compound with insufficient data regarding safety. We demonstrate mentioned compounds present consumer food environment, thus exhibiting toxicological risk only humans, but also other species where toxic effects already described. As a result of the ban on bisphenol A (BPA), hormone disruptor with developmental neurotoxicity, several BPA derivatives (BPs) have been widely used in industrial production. However, there are no effective methods for assessing neurodevelopmental toxic effects BPs. To address this, Drosophila exposure model was established, and W1118 reared food containing these Results showed that each BPs displayed different semi-lethal doses ranging from 1.76 to 19.43 mM. Exposure delayed larval development affected axonal growth, resulting abnormal crossing midline axons β lobules mushroom bodies, but damage caused by BPE BPF relatively minor. BPC, BPAF, BPAP most significant locomotor behavior, whereas BPC exhibited social interactions. Furthermore, high-dose BPA, BPS, also significantly increased expression estrogen-related receptors. These demonstrated kinds had levels toxicity, severity BPZ > BPAF BPB BPS ≈ BPAl BPE. Therefore, BPZ, should be evaluated as potential alternatives BPA.

Bisphenol AP (BPAP) is a bisphenol analogue that used as substitute for BPA in industrial production and now commonly found the environment. Currently, there limited information available on its developmental toxicity aquatic organisms. This study exploited zebrafish embryos to investigate adverse effects of BPAP exposure during their early life stages. The results revealed had median lethal concentration (LC50) 36, 22, 8.5 μmol/L at 24, 48, 72 h post fertilization (hpf), respectively. Additionally, led abnormal development embryos, including hatching delay, malformation, inhibition spontaneous movements. Transcriptomic analysis further upregulated mRNA expression levels genes related inflammatory pathways, such il1b, ptgs2b, fosab, indicating induction an response. Overall, our findings provide valuable insights into environmental health risks associated with exposure.
