Abstract In present work, Panchganga river water samples are collected from four different stations of River Ichalkaranji to Shirol and quality assessment is carried out in February 2023. The observations compared with desirable values IS 10500, (2012) assess the environmental impact industrial, domestic agricultural waste respective zones on River. Then index study for stations. Primarily, city located at left bank [8]. As flowing affected by industries like textile processing units similar. research paper focuses physic-chemical parameters surface exactly after mixing industrial effluents City. hyacinth grown dead fishes found nadives naka drags towards index. Secondly, huge amount shirol. This situation existing detailed Water study. From it observed that, station I highly polluted, Station II, III, IV moderately polluted hence need treat before use. untreated industry a key cause pollution around shirol taluka.

Abstract The escalating concern over the presence and health implications of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in drinking water has underscored need for rigorous risk assessments. Our study aimed to quantify both non-carcinogenic carcinogenic risks associated with exposure selected PTEs—namely arsenic (As), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd). Also, we evaluated ingestion skin contact exposures during summer winter using metrics such as hazard quotient (HQ), index (HI), cancer (CR) children, adult males, females. For all demographic groups pathways, HQ values remain below established safety threshold (HQ < 1). Notably, As consistently had highest average HI value across male adults, female adults. Seasonal variations were statistically significant ( p 0.05) Cr, but not Cd. During summer, total (TCR) from 7.61 × 10 –6 , 8.94 1.12 –5 respectively. In winter, these 1.18 1.40 1.75 fuzzy C-means clustering analysis provided insights into our dataset's Cd, distribution patterns. Results indicate that As, Cd mean concentrations World Health Organization health-based guidelines. CR children adults slightly above or US Environmental Protection Agency’s standards. These findings can inform research policy-making regarding PTEs highlight monitor Shiraz regularly.

Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the concentrations of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) around Qom (a province in Iran) combined cycle power plant relation seasonal variations fuel type from December 2014 May 2015. Passive sampling was used three monitoring sites assess noncarcinogenic health risks associated with exposure SO2 NOX. Results showed higher NOX winter than spring. The highest (when plants gasoil) spring gas fuel) were 52.70 ± 21.70/52.70 13.20 22.10 7.00 µg/m3. Similarly, 5.00 0.20 3.90 0.70 There a moderately significant correlation between NOx when consumed gasoil (Spearman rho coefficient, 0.68, p < .05). A difference observed concentration (p hazard quotient values for below 1 all age groups, whereas those above infants children. index 1, indicating an unacceptable risk human health. Sobol’ sensitivity analysis identified inhalation rate as most factors determining across groups. In conclusion, use by increases emission pollutants, thereby raising residents these regions, particularly vulnerable demographics like Therefore, prioritizing air quality management such using cleaner fuels control technologies well continuous are utmost importance.

The choice of extractant for estimating plant-available potassium (K) in mica-rich soil has not been universally established. In order to evaluate and monitor the complex chemical performance K K-rich soil, subsequently, its availability crops, a suitable protocol that takes into consideration properties relation rice plant parts (root, shoot, grain) uptake becomes necessary. Nine laboratory extraction methods estimate content using 63 samples collected from nearly 21 mica mines, encompassing wide range across different agricultural lands. While ammonium acetate is widely used testing, other have also proposed crop-available K. Among various extractants tested, 0.5 M sodium bicarbonate at pH 8.5 (mean 132.24 mg/kg) gave best results areas near mines. Additionally, water-soluble showed promise such as root, grain uptake, indicated by correlation coefficient 0.94, 0.93 respectively. Based on artificial neural network (ANN) Sobol (variance-based method determining how input variables contribute output variance model) methods, Mehlich 3 procedure extractable forms positive impact grain. Taylor (a graphical tool compare models) diagram comparing multiple machine learning algorithms, multivariate adaptive regression spline extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) emerged best-fit models contribution each uptake.
