Abstract
The
escalating
concern
over
the
presence
and
health
implications
of
potentially
toxic
elements
(PTEs)
in
drinking
water
has
underscored
need
for
rigorous
risk
assessments.
Our
study
aimed
to
quantify
both
non-carcinogenic
carcinogenic
risks
associated
with
exposure
selected
PTEs—namely
arsenic
(As),
chromium
(Cr),
cadmium
(Cd).
Also,
we
evaluated
ingestion
skin
contact
exposures
during
summer
winter
using
metrics
such
as
hazard
quotient
(HQ),
index
(HI),
cancer
(CR)
children,
adult
males,
females.
For
all
demographic
groups
pathways,
HQ
values
remain
below
established
safety
threshold
(HQ
<
1).

Abstract
This
study
