Methylene blue is a model dye used in many adsorption studies, and it chemisorbed on activated carbon (AC) adsorbent. Sugar beet crown (SBC) waste was employed to produce sustainable activated carbon (AC) by a thermo-chemical activation procedure using fixed ratio of H3PO4/SBC (1 : 1 w/w ratio) at 550 °C/2 h. An carbon/polyamide nano-composite (AC/PA) also prepared through the polymerization fabricated AC (90%) with polyamide (PA, 10%) synthetic textile proper dissolving agent specified polymer (formic acid/PA = 82/18%). Both and its derivative AC/PA were in remediation dyes from industrial wastewater column systems, their efficiencies compared various applied experimental conditions. The adsorption dye (IDW) pH-, flow rate-, bed thickness-controlled process regarded adsorbents. Kinetic studies confirmed suitability Thomas equation over Yoon Nelson model predicting dynamic IDW as assured close agreement among calculated uptake capacities both adsorbents same rates, suggesting chemisorption nature adsorption. The indiscriminate release of chromium-saturated effluent into water bodies has raised concerns regarding its effect on human health and environmental ecology. Therefore, this research aimed to remove hexavalent chromium from an aqueous solution utilizing activated carbon developed Rumex abyssinicus. adsorbent was prepared through chemical impregnation with H3PO4 then thermally at 500 for 2 h. optimization the adsorption experiments performed using Box‒Behnken approach response surface methodology. characterization revealed good quality in terms amorphous structure, maximum specific area 1722.9 m2/g porous surface. Furthermore, results showed that a removal efficiency 95.97% attained optimum working pH 3, contact time 60 min, initial concentration 70 mg/L dosage 0.6 mg/100 mL. Langmuir isotherm model found have best fit experimental data. Moreover, kinetics study pseudo-second-order data best, indicating occurrence chemisorption. Overall, suggested abyssinicus could be effective removing solutions.
