Transcranial Photobiomodulation (tPBM) offers significant potential for cognitive enhancement and therapy. A critical gap remains in our understanding of the differential impacts pulsed versus continuous tPBM on human electroencephalogram (EEG) patterns. Treatment planners do not have objective metrics to ascertain optimal dosage parameters which hampers development effective closed-loop neuromodulation systems. This study focuses key EEG markers: interhemispheric coherence frequency entrainment. Concurrent recordings were conducted healthy participants single sessions with continuous, modular protocols. Putative indicators protocols are hypothesized be post-intervention increases relative alpha power normalization. The quantifies changes from baseline demonstrate dosimetry effects. We anticipate that will elucidate distinct effects protocols, an expected normalization

Autism Spectrum Disorder constitutes a complex, elaborate, and diverse condition at developmental, biological, neurophysiological level. It is recognized primarily by the behavioral manifestations of individual in communication, social interaction, extension his cognitive development adaptation to society as whole. A wide range studies have linked pathophysiology autism dysfunctional elements function mitochondria, cells, neurons, gastrointestinal microbiome. Low Light Laser Therapy (LLLT) an innovative, emerging, non-invasive treatment method. utilizes low levels red light/near-infrared light positively affecting biological pathological processes body enhancing cellular, mitochondrial stimulation, neurogenesis, synaptogenesis, immune system development, regulating gut microbiome's function. The retrospective literature review focuses on possibility effective use method autism. According literature, LLLT does not many applications patients with ASD still early stages its disorder. However, results highlight therapeutic effect several areas related disease, pointing out that it promising approach for evolution future.

ABSTRACTABSTRACTTranscranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) has been used for cognitive enhancement in healthy people. However, its effect on creativity not investigated. The default mode network (DMN) is associated with divergent thinking (DT; but convergent thinking, CT), and also anxiety, which turn negatively related to creativity. We aimed use tPBM over the DMN assess DT compared sham. Additionally, we assessed possible mediating of anxiety between DT. In this single-blind, between-subjects study, 58 participants were randomly assigned or sham group. was applied using near-infrared light (810 nm, 40 Hz; 50% duty cycle), through light-emitting diode devices combining transcranial plus intranasal PBM cortical nodes 20 min (240 J/cm2 total). CT before (baseline) after Unusual Uses (UU), Picture Completion (PC) Remote Associates test (RAT). ANCOVA (post-stimulation controlling baseline) results showed that group had significantly higher scores total UU, PC, may be effective enhancement. lack reveals a specific link DT.Keywords: Transcranial photobiomodulationcreativitydefault networkdivergent AcknowledgmentsWe would like thank all their time efforts participating study.Disclosure statementNo potential conflict interest reported by authors.Data availability statementThe data support findings study are available from corresponding author, [JP], upon reasonable request.Additional informationFundingThis supported Department Education Science Basque Government [IT946‐16].

Abstract This study investigated the causal effect of transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM) over left prefrontal cortex (LPFC) on syntactically complex Mandarin Chinese first language (L1) and second (L2) sentence processing performances. Two (L1 L2) groups participants (thirty per group) were recruited to receive double-blind, sham-controlled tPBM intervention, followed by processing, verbal working memory (WM), visual WM tasks. Results revealed a consistent pattern for both groups: (a) enhanced performance but not performance; (b) Participants with lower performances under sham benefited more from active tPBM. Taken together, current substantiated that L1 L2 ability directly without interference, would serve as promising cost-effective noninvasive brain stimulation (NIBS) tool future applications upregulating human faculty. Highlights The applies (complex) processing. enhances in & speakers. interference WM. A role LPFC through Opening up application prospect
