Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a serious public health issue because of its chronic and incurable nature. Common IBD drugs have limited efficacy produce adverse effects, leading to an urgent need develop new drug delivery systems. Curcumin (Cur) natural nontoxic that increasingly used in the treatment owing anti-inflammatory antioxidant effects. Metal–polyphenol networks constructed from metal ions polyphenols exhibit biological functionality while acting as adhesive nanomaterial encapsulate nano-Cur, thereby improving solubility release behavior. In this study, we prepared Cur@Fe&TA nanodrug system by constructing Fe3+/tannic acid (TA) metal–polyphenol network with encapsulated Cur. The exhibited good stability, behavior, biocompatibility. Based on effects Cur@Fe&TA, gastrointestinal cytopathology mouse model was effectively improved. proposed nanomedicine has promising application research value for regulating levels antioxidants inflammatory cytokines.

Background: Cellular senescence, a hallmark of aging, significantly contributes to the pathology ulcerative colitis (UC). Despite this, role senescence-related genes in UC remains largely undefined. This study seeks clarify impact cellular senescence on by identifying key and developing diagnostic models with potential clinical utility. Methods: Clinical data gene expression profiles were obtained from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Senescence-related differentially expressed (sene-DEGs) between patients healthy controls identified using various bioinformatics techniques. Functional enrichment immune infiltration analyses performed understand subtype characteristics derived sene-DEGs through consensus clustering. Machine learning algorithms employed select feature sene-DEGs, their was validated across multiple independent datasets human specimens. A nomogram incorporating these created assessed, its performance evaluated receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis datasets. Results: Fourteen differential controls. For the past 70 years, dopamine hypothesis has been key working model in schizophrenia. This contributed to development of numerous inhibitors dopaminergic signaling and antipsychotic drugs, which led rapid symptom resolution but only marginal outcome improvement. Over decades, there limited research on quantifiable pathological changes schizophrenia, including premature cellular/neuronal senescence, brain volume loss, attenuation gamma oscillations electroencephalograms, oxidation lipids plasma mitochondrial membranes. We surmise that aberrant activation aryl hydrocarbon receptor by toxins derived from gut microbes or environment drives cellular neuronal a hallmark Early aging promotes secondary changes, impairment loss mitochondria, gray matter depletion, decreased oscillations, compensatory metabolic shift lactate lactylation. Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is an inflammatory disorder characterized by chronic intestinal inflammation and immune dysregulation. Despite a clear association between cellular senescence dysregulation, the mechanisms underlying in UC remain unclear. We screened differentially expressed genes (DEGs) associated with multiple datasets, performed infiltration analysis, constructed clinical diagnostic models. Additionally, we investigated relationship key related to disease remission patients undergoing biologic therapy, validating their expression single-cell dataset. identified six DEGs (TWIST1, IGFBP5, MME, IFNG, ME1, FOS). Immune results indicated strong correlations of four these cells pathways. Through WGCNA, GO, KEGG analyses, found that gene modules strongly hub were enriched inflammation-related In dataset, exhibited similarities results. nomogram using for diagnosing UC, demonstrating good capability efficacy.
