Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and urinary incontinence (UI) are common disorders that significantly impact women's quality of life. Studies have demonstrated cytokines, including pro- anti-inflammatory immune mediators, play a role in illness genesis progression. Research on the inflammatory milieu pelvic floor has shown POP patients increased inflammation vaginal tissues. This evidence revealed significant changes an aspect pathogenesis POP. exhibit levels cytokines (IL-1, TNF, IFN, others) front wall, which may alter collagen metabolism contribute to indicate such as IL-6, IL-10, TGF, involved inflammation, remodelling, repair, dual effects UI. They can promote tissue healing regeneration but also exacerbate fibrosis, contributing progression these conditions. Understanding roles could help us improve microenvironment women treat Given considerable this review addresses studies published between 2000 2024 molecular mechanisms by affect with Furthermore, we explain novel therapeutic strategies for cytokine regulation, emphasizing possibility personalized treatments address underlying vagina UI patients. thorough analysis aims establish foundation future research clinical applications, ultimately improving patient outcomes via designed cytokine-based therapies.

Abstract Metabolic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and metabolic‐associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), are increasingly common worldwide, posing a significant public health challenge. Recent research has revealed complex interplay between these metabolic disorders interferon (IFN) immune responses. As key regulators, interferons coordinate the host's defense against viral infections essential for maintaining homeostasis. However, dysregulation can significantly disrupt IFN signaling pathways, affecting intensity efficiency of Conversely, alterations in influence onset progression diseases. This review explores mechanisms by which diseases modulate responses, focusing on how MAFLD alter signaling. Additionally, we examine implications changes responses By synthesizing current research, this aims to elucidate offering insights future clinical applications field IFN‐related

ABSTRACT Objective The objective of study is to clarify the relationship between monocyte‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (MLR) and lumbar spine bone mineral density (BMD) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), analyse mediating role fat distribution, providing a new indicator for early diagnosis osteoporosis T2DM. Methods A total 430 T2DM patients over 50 years were included. Subjects divided into T1, T2 T3 three groups based on MLR. adjusted regression models, subgroup analysis, generalised additive model (GAM), smoothed curve fitting, mediated effects analysis methods used. Results results indicated significant negative correlation MLR BMD ( β = −0.701; 95%CI: −0.112, −0.290). Subgroup fitting threshold effect showed nonlinear BMD, with an optimal inflection point at value 0.1266. Additionally, visceral subcutaneous area (VSR) was negatively correlated −0.775; −1.007, −0.504). Mediation VSR that estimate −0.0717, direct −0.0524, mediation −0.0193, proportion accounting 26.88% effect. Conclusion significantly associated Higher levels reduced BMD. plays this relationship, highlighting MLR's potential utility importance management health.

Osteoporosis (OP) is a prevalent metabolic bone disease, with several million cases of fractures resulting from osteoporosis worldwide each year. This phenomenon contributes to substantial increase in direct medical expenditures and poses considerable socioeconomic burden. Despite its prevalence, our understanding the underlying mechanisms remains limited. Recent studies have demonstrated involvement serum glucocorticoid-regulated protein kinase 1 (SGK1) multiple signaling pathways that regulate metabolism significant role development osteoporosis. Therefore, it great significance deeply explore mechanism SGK1 therapeutic potential. In this paper, we present comprehensive review structure activation SGK1, biological function, different types osteoporosis, inhibitors SGK1. The aim comprehensively assess latest research progress regards SGK1’s clarify regulation potential as target, lay foundation for novel strategies personalized treatment future. Furthermore, by thoroughly examining interactions between other molecules or pathways, biomarkers may be identified, thereby enhancing efficacy early screening intervention

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease influenced by both genetic and environmental factors. The global incidence of DM rising, its multiple complications seriously affect patients' quality life create huge economic burden. At present, the prevention treatment mainly rely on oral or subcutaneous drugs, although drugs are more acceptable, they may produce side effects have limited effect diabetic complications. Artesunate (ART) first-line antimalarial drug widely used worldwide. Whether orally intravenously, ART has high bioavailability excellent pharmacokinetic properties in humans, shown good tolerance safety patients ages. Recent pharmacological studies that, except for properties, also wide range therapeutic potential This review aims to synthesize latest research results, summarize discuss current role mechanism improving diabetes complications, provide theoretical basis subsequent exploration anti-diabetes development new antidiabetic agents based ART, which great clinical significance strengthening
