Unreliable energy supply disrupts productivity and escalates costs in manufacturing enterprises, highlighting the need for robust resilience strategies. Existing multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP), best–worst method (BWM), unaugmented TOPSIS, often lack advanced risk prioritization objective criteria weighting, limiting their effectiveness addressing complex, multidimensional challenges. This study proposes an integrated framework that combines Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) prioritization, CRITIC-method weighting based on 4A's dimensions—availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability—and fuzzy-TOPSIS strategy ranking. The bridges theoretical rigor with operational applicability, unique challenges faced by enterprises. Validated through a real-world case sensitivity analysis, it identifies actionable strategies, flexible scheduling, demonstrating consistent rankings across comparative analyses fuzzy VIKOR, WASPAS, MARCOS. sector-specific approach advances both academic understanding industrial practice providing scalable, tool enhancing resilience. presents integrating FMEA, CRITIC-method, within to address It prioritizes risk, provides ranks strategies under uncertainty. study, effective demonstrates adaptability, confirming robustness via analyses. Today, supply chain (SC) networks are facing more disruptions compared to the past. While rare, they can have catastrophic long-term economic or societal repercussions, and recovery processes be lengthy. These tremendously affect SC make it vulnerable, as observed during COVID-19 pandemic. The identification of these concerns has prompted demand for improved disruption management by developing resilient, agile, adaptive SC. aim this study is introduce an assessment framework prioritizing evaluating determinants resilience (SCR). To analyze empirical data, fuzzy criteria importance through intercriteria correlation (fuzzy CRITIC) technique order preference similarity ideal solution TOPSIS) been incorporated. Fuzzy CRITIC method was used identify critical TOPSIS applied determining relative ranking some real-world companies. Finally, propositions interpretive triple helix proposed achieve SCR. This research stands out its originality in both methodology implications. By introducing novel combination SCR applying with help establish a resilient SC, offers unique valuable contribution field key findings suggest that ‘Responsiveness’ followed ‘Managerial coordination information integration’ most significant determinant outcome work assist managers agility adaptivity.

Abstract This paper aims to determine the resilience scores of suppliers by considering importance knowledge sharing and incorporating a set criteria that affect supply chain’s resilience, along with sharing. In order achieve this goal, we propose new multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method named MULTIMABAC evaluate suppliers’ resilience. is based on multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) method. The consists weighting, expert supplier evaluation. weighting section, extend BWM (Best–Worst method) using Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs). weight experts determined average concept into MABAC score calculated an extended ideal positive negative solutions. All indices are aggregated ordinal priority approach (OPA) obtain unique ranking. Additionally, PFSs address uncertainty in chain decision-making. Results sensitivity analysis demonstrate proposed effectively facilitates selecting resilient suppliers. Therefore, organizations can use choose Moreover, demonstrates robustness variations weights its constituent parameters.
