The rise of the metaverse has ignited a surge interest among researchers and decision‐makers, seeking to develop effective virtual commerce (v‐commerce) applications that cater business demands customer preferences. v‐commerce, an emerging concept, redefines future shopping experiences customer‐product interactions. While businesses are actively exploring potential immersive technologies deliver captivating engaging experiences, there remains lack consensus on what constitutes ideal v‐commerce experience how identify optimal stores effectively. Considering this, benchmarking for is crucial its development. This endeavor falls within realm multiple‐criteria decision‐making, given various critical issues such as multitude design attributes, uncertainty regarding their relative importance, data variability. study proposes innovative approach extends fuzzy‐weighted zero‐inconsistency (FWZIC) method with spherical linear Diophantine fuzzy sets (FSs) (SLDFSs) determine weights attributes. obtained integrated ranking alternatives by trace median index (RATMI) select application metaverse. Criterion weighting results reveal “ease navigation” “recommendation agents” most significant criteria in assessing solutions. Based these results, 24 solutions were evaluated. Additionally, sensitivity analysis comparative evaluation used assess robustness validity proposed framework. research provides essential insights decision‐makers practitioners facilitate growth, consumer satisfaction, further this domain.
