Dyslipidemia, characterized by abnormal blood lipid levels, is a major public health concern due to its association with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and other cardiometabolic disorders. In this context, appropriate nutrition patterns are pivotal as they represent the basic approach for providing wide range of substantial advantages. The best evidence dyslipidemia management offered Mediterranean Diet, Plant-Based High-Fiber Diet Anti-inflammatory while DASH Ketogenic have also been shown target additional pathological features like hypertension comorbidities. bioactive compounds that enriched in these able manage include monounsaturated fatty acids such ω-3, polyphenols oleuropein, resveratrol, flavonoids, catechins, carotenoids, phytosterols soluble unsoluble fibers. Diets rich can improve profile mitigating oxidative stress, reducing low-grade chronic inflammation, modulating macronutrient absorption mechanisms, thereby supporting health. Additionally, lifestyle interventions regular physical activity, weight loss, reduced alcohol consumption smoking cessation further ameliorate metabolism circulated profile. Furthermore, emerging insights from nutrigenomics underscore potential proper diet address genetic factors optimize treatment outcomes. role context implications discussed review, emphasizing evidence-based personalized approaches.

Background: This study aimed to analyze the metabolic risk factors for microcirculation disorders in patients with unstable angina (UA) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), evaluating their predictive value developing disorders. Methods: A single-center retrospective design was used, which included 553 UA who underwent PCI. The angiographic microcirculatory resistance (AMR) index calculated based on angiography data. Patients were divided into two groups according post-PCI AMR values: a ≤2.50 group and >2.50 group. Variables multivariate regression model through univariate variance inflation factor (VIF) screening. Subgroup analyses conducted by sex further evaluate of selected variables overall sample. total sample randomly split 7:3 ratio training validation sets. nomogram sets then constructed visualize these predictions. discrimination calibration prediction evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve curve. Results: had higher percentage females, increased incidence diabetes, elevated fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), triglyceride (TG), cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), very (VLDL-C), lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) levels (p < 0.05). Logistic analysis identified HbA1c, TG, LDL-C, Lp(a) as independent predictors adjusting confounders. confirmed no significant interaction between > set, area under (AUC) ROC 0.824 set 0.746 set. curves showed good fit (training set: p = 0.219; 0.258). Conclusions: are post-PCI. provides accuracy.

This study compares the association of eight insulin resistance (IR)-related markers (triglyceride-glucose index (TyG), TyG-body mass (TyG-BMI), TyG-waist circumference (TyG-WC), TyG-waist-to-height ratio (TyG-WHtR), triglycerides-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (TG/HDL), lipid accumulation product (LAP), visceral adiposity (VAI), and estimated glucose disposal rate (eGDR)) with cardiovascular disease (CVD). Spearman's coefficients were used for correlations between IR-related markers. Predictive capacities evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, Akaike Information Criterion, Bayesian Criterion calculated. Multivariable-adjusted Cox regression models restricted cubic spline (RCS) analysis performed to explore associations CVD. In Pearson correlation TyG-WC TyG-WHtR had a coefficient 0.95, while TG/HDL VAI 0.97. Regarding predictive capacity across different glycemic states, eGDR showed best performance among 8 markers, particularly in predicting stroke. According each unit increase TyG, TyG-BMI, TyG-WC, TyG-WHtR, risk heart increased by 24.1%, 0.4%, 0.1%, 17.56%, respectively; stroke 69.3%, 0.6%, 0.2%, 36.5%, respectively. Additionally, ratio, VAI, LAP exhibited nonlinear risk. For eGDR, risks decreased 21% 14.2%, is most effective marker CVD, especially stroke, all states. Modified TyG indices provide better value than alone.

There is a gap of knowledge about the clinical and pathophysiological implications resulting from interaction between primary hyperlipidemias type 2 diabetes (T2D). Most existing evidence comes sub-analyses cohorts; scant information derives randomized trials. The expected T2D in patients with an escalation their already high cardiovascular risk. need to accurately identify this dual burden adequately prescribe lipid-lowering therapies, current advancements newer therapeutic options. This review provides update on interactions hyperlipidemias, such as familial combined hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, multifactorial chylomicronemia, lipoprotein (a), diabetes.

Objective There is no evidence to suggest that an association exists between the remnant cholesterol (RC) high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) ratio and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). In this study, RC/HDL-C during first trimester was examined as a potential indicator of onset GDM second trimester. Methods This secondary analysis data from Korea-based prospective cohort study. The study involved 582 women within 14 weeks pregnancy who were November 2014 July 2016 at two Korean hospitals. RC calculated total (TC) minus sum low-density (LDL-C) HDL-C. determined by dividing content HDL-C content. occurrence investigated utilizing binary logistic regression model, various sensitivity analyses, subgroup analyses. Additionally, evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. Results average age pregnant 32.07 ± 3.78 years, had median value 0.39. prevalence 6.01%. positive incidence after adjusting for confounding variables (odds ratio: 21.78, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 3.55–133.73, P < 0.001). Furthermore, validated results indicated robust predictor GDM, with area under ROC curve 0.795 (95% CI: 0.723–0.868). optimal threshold 0.45, 71.4% specificity 75.3%. Compared traditional lipid markers, including LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, TC, emerging marker RC, exhibited higher diagnostic efficacy. Conclusion increased risk associated levels 12 gestation, independent factors. more effective in diagnosing than markers.

Purpose Non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density ratio (NHHR) represents an essential lipid index and is closely related the occurrence development of diabetes cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Therefore, this study intended further investigate association between NHHR mortality rate CVDs in patients with type 2 mellitus (T2DM) diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Methods The research sample was selected from NHANES (National Health Nutrition Examination Survey) database, 5136 individuals were categorized based on quartiles index. Restricted cubic plots COX regression models utilized examine thresholds patterns relation risk among T2DM as well those DKD. Subgroup analyses p-values used evaluate interactions different variables. Results shows a nonlinear two patient groups, following L-shaped pattern. In T2DM, lower (<1.68) correlates increased death, demonstrating 72.8% reduction for each unit increase below threshold. Similarly, DKD, (<1.82) associated heightened risk, indicating 48.2% death beneath specified diagnosed third quartile significantly linked reduced risk; remained consistent even when additional variables considered [Hazard Ratio (HR), 0.82; 95% Confidence Interval (CI) (0.69-0.97); P=0.019]. Among notably higher fourth [Quartile3 HR, 1.57; CI (1.10-2.24), P=0.013; Quartile4 2.04; (1.28-3.26), P=0.003]. Conclusions 1.68, CVD T2DM. falls 1.82, elevation decreased
