on

over
placebos
enhancing
markers
To
obtain
more
reliable
effectiveness
interventions
health,
additional
RCTs
with
larger
sample
sizes,
extended
follow-up
periods,
multi-center
participation
necessary.
Enhancing
credibility
these
requires
better
control
variables
precise
measurement
health
markers.

Background/Objectives:
Lifestyle
interventions
such
as
dietary
changes
have
been
proposed
to
control
the
cardiometabolic
risk
factors
and
thus
prevent
cardiovascular
(CV)
disease
(CVD).
We
performed
an
umbrella
review
investigate
whether
different
patterns
affect
CV
in
individuals
with
at
least
one
factor
(hypertension,
dyslipidemia,
obesity,
diabetes,
metabolic
syndrome)
but
not
established
CVD.
Methods:
systematically
searched
PubMed
Scopus
databases
(up
August
2024)
for
systematic
reviews
meta-analyses
of
randomized
controlled
trials
(RCTs).
Articles
should
be
written
English
refer
a
specific
pattern
(such
Mediterranean
diet,
etc.).
The
population
studied
referred
adults
factor.
Results:
From
4512
records
identified,
we
finally
included
25
total
329
associations.
Strong
evidence
benefit
was
found

Circulating MicroRNAs Related to Arterial Stiffness in Adults with HIV Infection

HIV
(PWH)
have
an
elevated
risk
of
cardiovascular
disease
compared
to
those
without
HIV.
This
study
aimed

relative
serum
expression
microRNAs
(miRNAs)
associated
arterial
stiffness,

significant
marker
disease.

36
male
PWH
and
people
HIV,
matched
for
age,
body
mass
index,
pack
years,
dyslipidemia,

intention

study

cohort

Greek
Registry

Familial
Hypercholesterolemia
(GRegistry-FH)

diabetes

thyroid

prospective

door-to-door
interviews

interviewers.

7704
individuals

≥18
years,
randomly
