Background This study aimed to investigate the associations of physical activity (PA) volume and intensity with risk depression symptoms. Methods The data utilized in this came from 2011–2014 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey. PA was measured using a triaxial accelerometer calculated Monitor-Independent Movement Summary (MIMS), MIMS units are novel metric derived wrist-worn data, representing for each minute across entire monitoring period. were expressed by average daily accumulated (Daily MIMS) peak 30-min (Peak-30 ; Peak intensity), respectively. Depression symptoms defined as Patient Questionnaire-9 score ≥10. Weighted logistic regression restricted cubic splines used evaluate between metrics Results After adjusting all covariates, higher Daily Peak-30 associated lower risk. Each additional 1,000 1-unit 5% [Odds ratio (OR) = 0.95, 95% confidence interval (95% CI): 0.94, 0.98] 2% (OR 0.98, CI: 0.97, 0.99) reduction risk, When including both same model, association remained significant ( p 0.02), whereas did not 0.60). spline analysis indicated monotonic decrease OR values P non-linear 0.21). An initial increase followed observed rising <0.01). Conclusion Our findings indicate that reduced negated after US adults.

Neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs) are a class of neurological disorders marked by the progressive loss neurons that afflict millions people worldwide. These illnesses affect brain connection, impairing memory, cognition, behavior, sensory perception, and motor function. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's examples common NDDs, which frequently include buildup misfolded proteins. Cognitive-behavioral impairments early markers neurodevelopmental disorders, emphasizing importance detection intervention. Neurotrophins such as brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) critical for neuron survival synaptic plasticity, is required learning memory. NDDs have been associated with decreased BDNF levels. Physical exercise, non-pharmacological intervention, benefits health increasing levels, lowering cognitive deficits, slowing degradation. Exercise advantages increased well-being, reduced depression, improved skills, neuroprotection amyloid accumulation, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation. This study examines effects physical exercise on cognitive-behavioral deficits levels in limbic system impacted neurodegeneration. The findings highlight necessity including into NDD treatment to improve structure, function, total As research advances, becoming increasingly acknowledged an important technique treating decline neurodegenerative disorders.

Background/Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine whether a periodized resistance training program would influence self-reported depression and anxiety scores in college-aged females. Methods: Eight participants participated six-week program. completed 3–5 repetition maximum (3–5 RM) for the sumo deadlift (SDL), bench press (BP), barbell back squat (BBS), standing shoulder (SSP). These data were used estimate 1 (1RM), which turn develop periodization Following baseline testing, two full-body workouts per week six weeks. Each individual retested after they 6-week program, performing RM SDL, BP, BBS, SSP. To symptoms anxiety, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) Anxiety (BAI) distributed before participating A repeated measures 2 × Analysis Variance (ANOVA) effect had on outcome measures. Results: There significant (p = 0.011) decrease BDI 6 weeks training. no statistically difference BAI 0.106). correlation between any exercise scores. Conclusions: results current indicate that is effective at reducing using

Objective This study investigates the association between physical exercise and emotion regulation abilities among college students, introducing self-efficacy as a mediating variable to analyze pathway mechanism through which affects abilities. Methods A cross-sectional design was employed, utilizing stratified random sampling method survey three colleges in Jiangsu Province, China. Physical Activity Rating Scale, Self-efficacy Emotional Intelligence Scale were used measure student population. Regression analysis mediation tests assessed whether mediates relationship students’ total of 5,430 valid questionnaires collected. Results The distribution activities 77.0% for low, 13.1% medium, 9.3% high levels. significantly positively correlated with emotional management ( r = 0.298,0.105; P <0.01), 0.322, <0.01). Abstract Aims The objective of this study is to explore the various latent categories within sleep quality night shift nurses and investigate whether shift‐related factors predispose higher levels occupational stress anxiety. Design This a cross‐sectional study. Methods From November December 2020, registered from 18 tertiary hospitals 16 secondary in Chongqing were selected through convenience sampling for Latent class analysis was used working shifts. Furthermore, univariate logistic multivariate utilized identify contributing Results four Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index identified as ‘Low Disorder Group’ (56.34%), ‘Moderate (37.27%), ‘High Non‐Reliant on Sleeping medication (4.89%) Reliant (1.50%). results showed that having night‐shift frequency 3–4 times per month, durations 9–12 h, time delay after (≥2 h), total less than 4 h increased Conclusion demonstrates heterogeneity can be classified into categories. Higher shifts, extended work hours insufficient rest are all associated with Impact By identifying among nurses, sheds light relationship between patterns These findings have important implications healthcare institutions management nurse well‐being schedules.
