Introduction This study investigated the suppressor effects of carrots depending on cultivation method AOM/DSS-induced colon cancer in mice by examining cell apoptosis, inflammation response, and metabolites. Carrots grown using different fertilizers significantly suppressed tumor development modulating apoptosis inflammatory responses our experimental settings. Methods Results Naturaldream Fertilizer Carrot (NFC) cultivated with deep sea water minerals (DSWM) showed effectively increased expression apoptosis-related genes proteins including p53, p21, Bim, Bad, Bax, Bak, Caspase 9, 3 tissue, while inhibiting production factors related such as TNF-a, IL-1b, IL-6, IFN-g, NF-kB, iNOS serum, spleen cells, liver tissues. Intestinal microbiota analysis revealed a distinct composition receiving compared to control group, accumulation intestinal microorganisms Lachnospiraceae, Mucispirillum schaedleri closely associated anti-tumor effects. Discussion Conclusion Overall, results indicate that carrots, especially DSWM fertilizers, play crucial role regulating responses. The present findings provide valuable insights for further exploration method, potential dietary source against cancer.
