Selenium (Se) is an essential trace element for maintaining health due to its ideal antioxidant properties. We previously prepared a new type of biogenic selenium nanoparticles based on alginate oligosaccharides (SeNPs-AOS), and this study aimed investigate the protective effects SeNPs-AOS (Se particle size = 80 nm, Se content 8%) organ in broilers challenged with HS. A total 192 21-day-old Arbor Acres were randomly divided into four groups according 2 × experimental design, including thermoneutral zone group (TN, raised under 23 ± 1.5 °C); TN + (TN supplemented 5 mg/kg SeNPS-AOS); HS (HS, 33 °C 10 h/day); (HS SeNPS-AOS). There six replicates each (eight per replicate). The results showed that improved splenic histomorphology, enhanced activity catalase (CAT) glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) spleen, as well upregulating mRNA expression antioxidant-related genes In addition, reversed pathological changes bursa caused by increased GST, GSH-Px, CAT upregulated Nrf2 heat-stressed broilers. dietary hepatic damage, GSH-Px liver, while downregulating Keap1 gene liver during Moreover, anti-ferroptosis-related conclusion, could relieve HS-induced oxidative damage Fabricius Nrf2-mediated also upregulate Nrf2-related anti-ferroptosis These findings are beneficial development nano-antioxidants

Background Using ultrasonic waves, a multi-component reaction of aminotriazole, carbonyl compounds and cyanoester derivatives, triazolopyrimidines are created with outstanding yields in shorter amount time. Selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) biological activity combined triazolopyrimidine can imply promising materials for different applications. Objective Synthesis conjugated SeNPs their incorporation into biodegradable polyvinyl alcohol antimicrobial application were investigated. Methods The synthesized triazole derivatives used the synthesis situ SeNPs. blended (PVa) to prepare composite films. All confirmed using FT-IR, 1 H-NMR, mass spectroscopy elemental analysis. prepared PVa films tested against Gram-positive (+ ve) Gram-negative (−ve) bacteria. Results treated PVA showed high efficiency compared derivatives.
