Screening a suitable genotype is important for nutrient recovery and its acquisition potential. Twenty genotypes of tomato were studied under different doses B-application. The indices B use efficiencies, viz. apparent (ABR), fruit production efficiency (FPE), physiological (PE), agro-physiological (APE) utilization ratio (UER) worked out genotypes. field experiment was laid in split-plot design the two consecutive years, assigning three levels (control i.e. without application, @ 2.0 kg ha−1 through borax 0.25% boric acid foliar spray twice) main plot location-specific twenty subplots, replicated thrice. Soil applied produced greater yield than twice B. However, improved by 2–12% over control soil Irrespective genotypes, content shoot plant upon application (ABR) agronomic (AE) suggested that more effective comparison to application. efficiencies highest cultivars NS–812 followed NS–512 B–9–2 B-deficient calcareous soils with twice. These could be promising lines breeding program enrichment cultivation soils.
