Numerous studies have investigated environmental risk factors in ADHD, and Bisphenol A (BPA), an endocrine disruptor, is suspected by several reviews. However, the quality of has never been carefully assessed, leading us to rigorously examine associations between BPA exposure ADHD associated symptoms children. Using PRISMA criteria, we conducted a systematic review on MEDLINE/PubMed, Web Science, EBSCOhost, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES Cochrane databases. We used ROBINS-E tool assess quality, GRADE Approach. This study was registered with PROSPERO, CRD42023377150. Out 10446 screened articles, 46 were included. Unlike pre-existing reviews, most failed find clear links or symptoms, high bias very low level certainty. Our reveals insufficient evidence regarding impact despite some behavioral results that cannot be generalized. Future will require improved consideration confounding more precise sampling methods. did not receive specific funding.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is the most used widely synthetic compound for manufacture of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins produced worldwide. Given its androgenic estrogenic activities, BPA an endocrine disruptor that linked to neurological vascular outcomes, including strokes. Therefore, this study aims investigate mechanisms by which a 24 h exposure (0.002–20 μM) modifies contractile function rat middle cerebral artery (MCA) smooth muscle cells (SMCs). Thus, MCA explants were isolated from Wistar rats, SMC-MCA vasoactive response was assessed using planar cell surface area, while gene expression proteins ion channel subunits involved in evaluated real-time quantitative PCR. The (0.02 2 decreased noradrenaline (NA) vasocontractile sodium nitroprusside (SNP) vasorelaxant response. Moreover, increased soluble guanyl cyclase protein large conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channels (1.1 α-subunit). These results suggest impairment induced intermediate concentrations, effect not attained lowest or highest concentrations (non-monotonic inverted U-shaped response). In summary, these findings homeostasis interfering with nitric oxide (NO) pathway may, thus, be ischemic stroke development.

Background/Objectives: Aging is a natural physiological process involving biological and genetic pathways. Growing evidence suggests that alterations in the epigenome during aging result transcriptional changes, which play significant role onset of age-related diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurodegenerative disorders. For this reason, epigenetic diseases have been reviewed, major extrinsic factors influencing these identified. In addition, gut microbiome its metabolites as modifiers has addressed. Results: Long-term exposure to such air pollution, diet, drug use, environmental chemicals, microbial infections, physical activity, radiation, stress provoke changes host through several endocrine immune pathways, potentially accelerating process. Diverse studies reported plays critical regulating brain cell functions DNA methylation histone modifications. The interaction between genes serves source adaptive variation, contributing phenotypic plasticity. However, molecular mechanisms signaling pathways driving are still not fully understood.
