Bisphenol
A
(BPA)
is
the
most
used
widely
synthetic
compound
for
manufacture
of
polycarbonate
plastics
and
epoxy
resins
produced
worldwide.
Given
its
androgenic
estrogenic
activities,
BPA
an
endocrine
disruptor
that
linked
to
neurological
vascular
outcomes,
including
strokes.
Therefore,
this
study
aims
investigate
mechanisms
by
which
a
24
h
exposure
(0.002–20
μM)
modifies
contractile
function
rat
middle
cerebral
artery
(MCA)
smooth
muscle
cells
(SMCs).
Thus,
MCA
explants
were
isolated
from
Wistar
rats,
SMC-MCA
vasoactive
response
was
assessed
using
planar
cell
surface
area,
while
gene
expression
proteins
ion
channel
subunits
involved
in
evaluated
real-time
quantitative
PCR.
The
(0.02
2
decreased
noradrenaline
(NA)
vasocontractile
sodium
nitroprusside
(SNP)
vasorelaxant
response.
Moreover,
increased
soluble
guanyl
cyclase
protein
large
conductance
Ca2+-activated
K+
channels

These
results
suggest
impairment
induced
intermediate
concentrations,
effect
not
attained
lowest
or
highest
concentrations
(non-monotonic
inverted
U-shaped
response).
In
summary,
these
findings
homeostasis
interfering
with
nitric
oxide
(NO)
pathway
may,
thus,
be
ischemic
stroke
development.

Background/Objectives:
Aging
is
a
natural
physiological

included.

pre-existing
reviews,
most
failed
find
clear
links
or
symptoms,

bias

low
level
certainty.

reveals
insufficient
evidence
regarding
impact
despite
some
behavioral
results
that
cannot
be
generalized.
Future
