To evaluate the online presence of wildlife crime and public's reaction to these crimes, we collected data on species, locations, animal status, motives depicted nine Pakistani Facebook pages eight groups from January 2016 May 2021. We categorized reactions images depicting birds, mammals, reptiles applied generalized linear models total number posts. In 594 relevant posts, identified 10,644 animals 138 species. Common Krait (Bungarus caeruleus) had highest followed by Grey Francolin (Ortygornis pondicerianus) Black (Francolinus francolinus). The posts has generally increased, particularly after Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020. Almost 66 % showed being killed, 27 were captured with no visible signs torture, rest torture captivity. most common reason for crimes was illegal hunting, fear trade. Online sales are increasingly a route by which exotic animals sold in the global pet trade. There numerous types of online platforms and transaction types, dedicated classified advertisement sites popular means buying selling animals. Despite their large increasing use, we have relatively poor understanding number of, taxonomic variation in, online. This information may be key efforts to optimise welfare being sold, ethics sustainability trade via that platform.
