Carya dabieshanensis is a species of significant economic value due to its unique flavor and nutritional properties as snack food, well durable wood, which highly suitable for furniture production. Known remarkable adaptability environmental stress, this serves valuable genetic resource enhancing hickory cultivars. However, restricted distribution limited availability high-quality germplasm have impeded large-scale cultivation hindered industry development. While the diversity genomic basis adaptation hold great promise future breeding programs, no studies date utilized SNP markers explore or mechanisms underlying adaptability. In study, we analyzed 60 samples from 12 natural populations C. dabieshanensis, representing global distribution. Using illinoinensis (Wangenh. K. Koch) genome reference, employed Specific Locus Amplified Fragment Sequencing (SLAF-seq) generate data. By integrating population landscape genomics approaches, investigated structure wild identified key factors driving differentiation. Our analysis revealed 9,120,926 markers, indicating substantial (π = 1.335 × 10−3 1.750 10−3) differentiation among (FST 0.117–0.354). Landscape BIO3 (Isothermality), BIO6 (Min Temperature Coldest Month), BIO14 (Precipitation Driest Month) critical shaping diversity. This study provides essential insights into resources facilitating development climate-resilient cultivars offering scientific foundation conservation sustainable management populations.

The uneven distribution of human resources for health (HRH) in China, particularly within the realm traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), has long posed a significant challenge. Although prior studies have examined regional disparities overall HRH, limited research specifically addressed spatial and temporal dynamics HRH TCM their underlying determinants. This study employs multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) model to explore across 31 provinces from 2008 2021. MGWR allows each explanatory variable operate at its optimal scale, capturing localized patterns heterogeneity. results reveal that although generally increased over time, substantial persist, with eastern central regions exhibiting higher degree resource agglomeration while western continue lag behind. Economic factors such as wage income, number institutions, education funding emerge most spatially heterogeneous These effects suggest region-specific policy interventions are needed-such financial incentives infrastructure support underserved regions, institutional integration quality standardization areas-reflecting differentiated roles development contexts regions. By leveraging advantages patterns, this provides empirical evidence more targeted sustainable planning development. Enhancing accessibility services not only addresses current imbalances but also strengthens healthcare system's capacity respond needs an aging population future public emergencies. findings offer valuable insights policymakers aiming improve equity China may inform similar efforts other countries facing resources.

ABSTRACT Metal contamination represents a critical environmental challenge, adversely impacting ecosystems and human health. Microorganisms, including fungi, have developed diverse mechanisms to tolerate resist metal‐induced stress, making them valuables for bioremediation. This study evaluates the metal tolerance of Absidia glauca , Penicillium bilaiae Trichoderma viridescens using minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) assay alternative profile change (MPCC) approach via MALDI‐TOF MS. MIC revealed species‐specific tolerances copper, zinc, cadmium. A. showed highest copper cadmium (75 9 mg L −1 ), producing dry biomass 0.03 0.04 g, respectively. While P. exhibited zinc ) 0.06 g. MS provided rapid proteomic information on fungal responses metals, showing changes in protein as increased. We performed comparative analysis between values obtained MPCC, giving positive correlation results both techniques Cu, Zn, Cd ( r = 1.00; 0.87 0.99 respectively, p < 0.05). In conclusion, has proven be an effective method analyzing exposure, providing more detailed molecular insights than traditional assays. Future studies should investigate underlying resistance, particularly focus regulation specific proteins.
