MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a group of small non-coding RNAs that post-transcriptionally control expression genes by targeting mRNAs. miRNA alterations partake in the establishment and progression different types human cancer. Consequently, profiling cancers has correlations with cancer detection, staging, progression, response to therapies. Particularly, amplification, deletion, abnormal pattern epigenetic factors transcriptional mediate regulation primary frequently change landscape Indeed, changes quantity quality miRNAs associated initiation cancer, its metastasis. Additionally, been used categorize can affect oncogenic pathways Here, we discuss several circulating signatures, their profiles impacts on cellular processes.

Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) is a single-pass transmembrane immune that mainly microglia in the brain and macrophages periphery. Recent studies have identified TREM2 as risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Increasing evidence has shown can affect lipid metabolism both central nervous system (CNS) In CNS, affects of cholesterol, myelin, phospholipids promotes transition into disease-associated phenotype. periphery, influences by regulating onset progression obesity its complications, such hypercholesterolemia, atherosclerosis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. All these altered processes could influence pathogenesis AD through several means, including affecting inflammation, insulin resistance, pathologies. Herein, we will discuss potential pathway mediates to CNS Moreover, possibility may be key links peripheral under conditions, AD. This link due impacts integrity blood-brain barrier, introduce pathways which barrier. role lipids TREM2-associated treatments We propose some therapies targeting prospect limitations therapies.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s (PD), and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) are representative neurodegenerative diseases (NDs) characterized by degeneration of selective neurons, as well the lack effective biomarkers therapeutic treatments. In last decade, microRNAs (miRNAs) have gained considerable interest in diagnostics therapy NDs, owing to their aberrant expression ability target multiple molecules pathways. Here, we provide an overview dysregulated miRNAs fluids (blood or cerebrospinal fluid) nervous tissue AD, PD, ALS patients. By emphasizing those that commonly these highlight potential role therapeutical targets describe use antisense oligonucleotides miRNA therapies.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is one of the most common causes dementia. Although significant breakthroughs have been made in understanding progression and pathogenesis AD, it remains a worldwide problem public health burden. Thus, more efficient diagnostic therapeutic strategies are urgently required. The latest research studies revealed that neuroinflammation crucial AD. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), including long noncoding (lncRNAs), microRNAs (miRNAs), circular (circRNAs), PIWI-interacting (piRNAs), transfer RNA-derived small (tsRNAs), strongly associated with AD-induced neuroinflammation. Furthermore, several ongoing pre-clinical currently investigating ncRNA as biomarkers interventions to provide new perspectives for AD diagnosis treatment. In this review, role different types ncRNAs during summarized order improve our etiology aid translation basic into clinical practice.

Both continuous aerobic training (CAT) and high-intensity interval (HIIT) are recommended to promote health prevent diseases. Exercise-induced circulating extracellular vesicles (EX-EVs) have been suggested play essential roles in mediating organ crosstalk, but corresponding molecular mechanisms remain unclear. To assess compare the systemic effects of CAT HIIT, five healthy male volunteers were assigned HIIT CAT, with a 7-day between sessions. Plasma EVs collected at rest or immediately after each section, prior proteomics miRNA profile analysis. We found that differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs EX-EVs largely involved regulation transcriptional factors, while most DE proteins identified as non-secreted proteins. common neuronal signal transduction, autophagy, cell fate regulation. Specifically, showed distinct cognitive function substrate metabolism, was more associated growth, cardiac muscle function, insulin signaling pathways. Interestingly, miR-379 cluster within specifically regulated by involving several biological functions, including neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction. Furthermore, likely originate from various tissues, metabolic immune system, nervous system. Our study provides insights into shedding light on crosstalk promotion.

miRNA(miR)-124 is an important regulator of neurogenesis, but its upregulation in SOD1G93A motor neurons (mSOD1 MNs) was shown to associate with neurodegeneration and microglia activation. We used pre-miR-124 wild-type (WT) MNs anti-miR-124 mSOD1 characterize the miR-124 pathological role. overexpression WT produced a miRNA profile like that (high miR-125b; low miR-146a miR-21), similarly led early apoptosis. Alterations were abrogated changes their miRNAs mostly recapitulated by secretome. Normalization levels prevented dysregulation neurite network, mitochondria dynamics, axonal transport, synaptic signaling. Same alterations observed after transfection. Secretome from triggered spinal activation, which unno-ticed anti-miR-124-modulated cells. such modulated MNs, when added SC organotypic cultures mice symptomatic stage, also coun-teracted pathology associated GFAP decrease, PSD-95 CX3CL1-CX3CR1 signaling im-pairment, neuro-immune homeostatic imbalance, enhanced expression levels. Data suggest implicated MN degeneration paracrine-mediated pathogenicity. propose as new therapeutic target promising ALS biomarker patient sub-populations.
