Abstract Natural products are closely associated with human health. Luteolin (LUT), a flavonoid polyphenolic compound, is widely found in fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. It noteworthy that LUT exhibits variety of beneficial pharmacological properties holds significant potential for clinical applications, particularly antitumor, anti‐convulsion, diabetes control, anti‐inflammatory, neuroprotection, anti‐oxidation, anti‐cardiovascular, other aspects. Lung cancer is a prevalent malignant tumor and leading cause of cancer-related fatalities globally. However, current treatments all have limitations. Therefore, there an urgent need to identify readily available therapeutic agent counteract lung development progression. Luteolin flavonoid derived from vegetables herbs that possesses preventive effects on various cancers. With the goal providing new directions for treatment cancer, we review here recent findings luteolin so as provide ideas anti-lung drugs. The search focused studies published between January 1995 2024 explored use in cancer. Metabolic-Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD) is a clinical-pathological scenario that occurs due to the accumulation of triglycerides in hepatocytes which considered significant cause liver conditions and contributes an increased risk death worldwide. Even though possible causes MAFLD can involve interaction genetics, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle (diet sedentary lifestyle) most influential factor developing this condition. Polyphenols comprise many natural chemical compounds be helpful managing metabolic diseases. Therefore, aim review was investigate impact oxidative stress, inflammation, mitochondrial dysfunction, role polyphenols MAFLD. Some reverse part damage related or among them are anthocyanin, baicalin, catechin, curcumin, chlorogenic acid, didymin, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, luteolin, mangiferin, puerarin, punicalagin, resveratrol, silymarin. Luteolin is a flavonoid widely found in plants, including vegetables, botanical drugs, and fruits. Owing to its diverse pharmacological activities, such as anticancer, oxidative stress protection, anti-inflammatory, neuron-preserving effects, luteolin has attracted attention research medicine. exhibits therapeutic effects on various pulmonary disease models through multiple molecular mechanisms; these include inhibition of activation the PI3K/Akt-mediated Nuclear Factor kappa-B (NF-κB) MAPK signaling pathways, well promotion regulatory T cell (Treg) function enhancement alveolar epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) activity (alleviating inflammation responses). chronic obstructive (COPD), acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ALI/ARDS), fibrosis, allergic asthma, cancer. Cadmium (Cd) is a common environmental pollutant associated with an increased incidence of renal metabolic diseases. Luteolin (Lut), natural flavonoid, widely used for its multifaceted therapeutic properties in inflammatory However, whether Lut protects against Cd-induced nephrotoxicity still equivocal. The present study investigated the effects supplementation on oxidative stress, inflammation and metabolism their related mechanisms.
