Abstract Sophorolipids are a group of surface‐active glycolipid compounds that can be synthesized by several yeasts, especially the Candida genera. Soap stock is by‐product vegetable oils refinery enriches mono‐unsaturated fatty acids, and its application interesting as low‐cost industrial residue in sophorolipid production. In this study, production was evaluated catenulate KP324968, using sunflower oil soap glucose hydrophobic hydrophilic carbon sources, respectively. Abstract Sophorolipids (SLs) are promising glycolipid biosurfactants as they easily produced and functional. SLs from microorganisms comprised of mixtures multiple derivatives that have different structures properties, including well-known acidic lactonic SL (ASLs LSLs, respectively). In this study, we established a method for analyzing all in the products Starmerella bombicola , typical SL-producing yeast. Detailed component analyses S. were carried out using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. Methanol was used eluent it is good solvent derivatives. With approach, possible to not only quantify ratio main components ASL, LSL, glycerides but also confirm trace such mono-glyceride bola-form (sophorose at both ends); notably, first time these been isolated identified successfully naturally occurring SLs. addition, our results revealed novel derivative which fatty acid bonded series had reported previously. Using present analysis method, track compositional changes during culture. Our showed LSL ASL initially accumulate middle stage fermentation process. Key points • An easy detailed sophorolipids introduced. Multiple known A hydrophobic characterized. Graphical

Tea plants are highly susceptible to the adverse effects of a high-temperature climate, which can cause reduced yield and quality even lead plant death in severe cases. Therefore, reducing damage caused by stress maintaining photosynthetic capacity tea is critical technical challenge. In this study, we investigated impact small oligopeptides (small peptides) surfactants on high-temperature-stress tolerance plants. Our findings demonstrated that use peptides enhances antioxidant protects their system. They also induce an increase gibberellin (GA) content decrease jasmonic acid (JA), strigolactone (SL), auxin (IAA), cytokinin (CTK) content. At same time, regulate metabolic pathways diterpenoid biosynthesis. Additionally, L-Carnosine N-Glycyl-L-Leucine (5-L-Glutamyl)-L-Amino Acid content, they Beta-Alanine metabolism, Thiamine Glutathione metabolism. summary, enhance ability resist stress.

Surface-active compounds (SACs), biomolecules produced by bacteria, yeasts, and filamentous fungi, have interesting properties, such as the ability to interact with surfaces well hydrophobic or hydrophilic interfaces. Because of their advantages over other compounds, biodegradability, low toxicity, antimicrobial, healing SACs are attractive targets for research in various applications medicine. As a result, growing number properties related SAC production been subject scientific during past decade, searching potential future biomedical, pharmaceutical, therapeutic fields. This review aims provide comprehensive understanding biosurfactants emulsifiers antimicrobials, modulators virulence factors, anticancer agents, wound agents field biotechnology biomedicine, meet increasing demand safer medical pharmacological therapies.

Spills involving fuels and lubricating oils in industrial environments caused by the fueling of machines, inadequate storage washing equipment are significant sources environmental pollution, impacting soil water bodies. Such incidents alter microbiological, chemical physical properties affected environments. The use biosurfactants is an effective option for cleaning tanks remediation contaminated soils effluents. scope this work was to assess production application a Starmerella bombicola ATCC 22214 biosurfactant remediate marine terrestrial environment polluted oil. optimized terms carbon/nitrogen culture conditions using flasks. performance tested clayey soil, silty standard sand, as well smooth surfaces effluents with (fuel B1 thermal power generation, diesel, motor oil). ideal medium contained 2% glucose 5% glycerol, agitation at 200 rpm, fermentation 180 h inoculum, resulting yield 1.5 g/L. had high emulsification indices (86.6% oil 51.7% diesel) exhibited good stability under different pH values, temperatures concentrations NaCl. critical micelle concentration 0.4 g/L, surface tension 26.85 mN/m. In tests, enabled removal no less than 99% from types soil. results showed that produced promising agent derivatives, especially treatment oily
