Abstract
This
research
aimed
to
assess
the
outcome
of
adding
cow
dung
as
a
microbiological
inoculum
and
sawdust
bulking
agent
swine
waste
in
invessel-composting
process.
The
biodegradation
was
conducted
using
rotary
drum
composter
(RDC),
which
raised
feedstock's
temperature
>
40°C
just
24
hours,
promoting
thermophilic
decomposition.
Surprisingly,
dung-amended
trial
(RDC1)
maintained
phase
for
16
days,
whereas
sawdust-amended
(RDC2)
only
lasted
7
days.
After
20
RDC1
product
exhibited
superior
nutritional
characteristics,
boosting
total
nitrogen
content
2.52%.
Moreover,
coliform

decreased
RDC1,
overall
weight

25%.
These
findings
highlight
that
incorporating
