The risk of inadequate management agro-waste is an emerging challenge. However, the economic relevance valorization one key strategies to ensure sustainable development. Among agro-waste, oilseed waste and its by-products are usually seen as mass after extraction oils. Oilseed especially cakes a potential source protein, fiber, minerals, antioxidants. contain high value-added bioactive compounds which have great significance among researchers develop novel foods having therapeutic applications. Moreover, these might be employed in pharmaceutical cosmetic industries. Thus, result desirable characteristics, can more valuable wide application food business along with preparation supplements. current review highlights that plentiful wastes or from oilseeds wasted if underutilized materials not properly valorized effectively utilized. Hence, promising utilization their only assists overcome environmental concerns protein insecurity but also helps achieve goals zero sustainability. Furthermore, article covers production industrial applications role phytochemicals treatment chronic diseases.
