Greenhouse gas emission is a key issue in the sustainable development of agriculture. Cd0.8Mn0.2S is a ternary particulate chemical substance that faces significant challenges with carrier recombination in the field of photocatalysis. To address this issue, we formed an internal electric and constructed S-scheme heterojunctions using Cu2O nanoparticles, thereby reducing rate photogenerated carriers. We synthesized hydrothermal method, followed by employing ultrasonic self-assembly to closely couple Cu2O. In configuration, acts as electron acceptor donor. The Cd0.8Mn0.2S/Cu2O structure forms tight interface, providing shortest transfer distance for migration. heterojunction strategy effectively lowers reaction barriers facilitates vectorial separation Under 10 W white light illumination, composite photocatalyst demonstrates remarkable hydrogen evolution activity, achieving production 40.06 mmol·g–1·h–1. This interface paves way structural design large-scale application highly active visible photocatalysts.
