Soil tensile strength is a critical parameter governing the initiation and propagation of cracking. This study proposes an eco-friendly approach to improve behavior crack resistance clayey soils. In order to treat phosphorus-containing wastewater and realize the resource utilization of wetland plant residues, biochar was prepared by pyrolysis canna aquatic waste at 700 °C, adsorption characteristics phosphorus MgO-modified (MBC) were explored. Recent climate variability, limited fertile land availability and soil degradation are major constraints to achieve food security for an ever-increasing human population. The adoption of intensive agriculture practices highly productive agrosystems coupled with use agrochemicals has caused significant increases in production worldwide. This exhaustive system generation accumulation large quantities organic wastes, which cause environmental pollution, deteriorate health increase public hazards. Conventional methods waste management such as situ burning landfilling chemical labour intensive, expensive energy-consuming, negatively impact the environment. Therefore, sustainable, eco-friendly socially acceptable agri-technologies have been developed value-added wastes obviate pollution problem. These biological technologies composting, anaerobic digestion, vermicomposting, biochar, phytostimulants, bioremediation pollutants opened new vista management. addition processed amendments (i.e., compost, vermicompost, biogas slurry biochar) matter nutrients availability, stimulates microbial community, contributes towards biocontrol pathogens also causes detoxification pesticides. Furthermore, amendment material, singly or beneficial microbes, improved health, promoted growth plants increased crop yields less dependency on fertilizers. Phosphorus (P) is vital for plant growth and abundantly found in incinerated sewage sludge ash (ISSA). However, utilizing this P-rich ISSA efficiently as fertilizer remains a key challenge. This study first successfully synthesized bi-functional biochar-based using acid-extracted shrimp shell through pyrolysis. We systematically examined how impregnation methods, pyrolysis temperatures, biomass types influenced available phosphorus (AP) release, with further optimization Cu(II) adsorption performance mechanism. AP release results indicated that the pre-pyrolysis impregnated biochar prepared at 350 °C (Im-SS350-pre) had maximum (51.68 mg P/g). demonstrated Im-SS350-pre achieved capacity of 66.86 mg/g, due to its highly effective reactive sites. was three times high produced without (25.08 mg/g). For XRD analysis confirmed acid leaching broke metal-P bonds, releasing Ca‒P Mg‒P, while promoted formation phosphate concentration. adsorption, FTIR, XRD, XPS analyses identified mechanisms such coordination, co-precipitation, functional group complexation, Cu‒π interactions. highlights dual functionality providing promising approach recovery copper remediation biomass.
