Abstract This experiment used valorized biomass of Chlorella vulgaris obtained by a culture in poultry wastewater to successfully produce biodiesel through enzymatic transesterification with 1% Novozyme 435 ( Candida antarctica lipase B, CAL B). To increase % conversion utilizing lipids, the study sought determine ideal temperature (35°C and 45°C) alcohol:oil molar ratio (6:1 9:1) for reaction (two‐factor experimental design two quantitative levels). It was found that 35°C 9:1 are conditions improve biodiesel, achieving 82% 8 h p < 0.05). Fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) were characterized gas chromatography demonstrating production parameters number, density, cloud point, refractive index, flash point complied ASTM standards, rheological behaviour Newtonian n = 1).
