The effect of hydrolysate and eluate recirculation on the solubilization waste activated sludge during microwave-alkali treatment was examined. results showed that numbers had a significant impact carbon sources nutrients recovery from sludge. As were recirculated twice, concentrations sCOD, PO43- NH4+ in increased by 1.50 5.02, 1.36 5.23, 1.61 4.98 times, respectively. Fungicide carbendazim accumulation in soils and plants is a wide concern. Nitrogen (N) substantial nutrient limiting crop growth affecting soil microbial activity the community degrading fungicides. We investigated effects of urea-hydrogen peroxide (UHP) nitrification inhibitors Dicyandiamide (DCD) 3,4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate (DMPP) on endophytic communities. The UHP application had negligible influences plant accumulation, but combined DCD decreased by 5.31% DMPP 44.36%. inhibitor significantly ratios Firmicutes Ascomycota. Soil assembly was governed stochastic process, while deterministic processes endophyte. Our findings could provide considerable methods to reduce fungicide soil–plant systems with agricultural N management strategies.

Abstract This study first employed a combined pretreatment of low‐dose peroxy‐disulfate (PDS) and initial pH 10 to promote short‐chain fatty acids (SCFAs) production via acidogenic fermentation using different types sewage sludge as substrates. The experimental results showed that the yield maximal SCFAs acetate proportion after were 1513.82 ± 28.25 mg chemical oxygen demand (COD)/L 53.64%, promoted by 1.28 1.56 times higher, respectively, compared sole pretreatment. Furthermore, in terms disintegration degree sludge, it increased more than 18% with 10. Waste‐activated (WAS) from A2/O Bardenpho processes biodegradable, explained 1.47‐ 1.35‐times higher rate those oxidation ditch they favored dominant fermentation. Correlation analysis revealed strong correlation ( p ≤ 0.01) between soluble COD, total proteins, proteins soluble‐extracellular polymeric substances (SEPS), polysaccharides, polysaccharides SEPS. Mechanism explorations preoxidation PDS enhanced solubilization biodegradability complex substrates, altered microbial community structure during process. Firmicutes Tetrasphaera proven play key role improving SCFA production, especially promoting converting additional into acetate. Additionally, addition greatly sulfur iron‐related metabolic activities. Finally, was estimated be cost‐effective solution for reutilizing treating Fe‐sludge.
