A novel strategy for reclamation and reuse of phosphate from aqueous solution was developed using Mg-enriched biochar prepared anaerobically digested sludge (ADBC). The ADBC pyrolyzed at 600°C (ADBC-600) exhibited the maximum removal capacity 23.2 mg/g, which much higher than that raw biocha (10.1 mg/g). Adsorption kinetic isotherm experiments showed adsorption on ADBC-600 could be well described by pseudo-second-order model Langmuir model, indicating mainly dominated chemisorption process. postsorption characterization results suggested Mg-induced precipitation likely main P mechanism ADBC. Moreover, spent re-utilized as an efficient fertilizer improving wheat seed germination growth. Provided a sustainable eco-friendly treatment recovery in wastewater plants (WWTPs) potential agronomic application.

Seasonal dynamics of bacterial composition and functions were demonstrated for the biological fluidized-bed bioreactors combined in anoxic/aerobic1/aerobic2 (AOO) coking wastewater (CWW) treatment sequences. The CWW activated sludge samples revealed by 16S rRNA genes amplicon sequencing. Thiobacillus, Cloacibacterium, Alkaliphilus Pseudomonas determined as core genera with seasonal changes. Mutable microbial community fluctuated different seasons same bioreactor. Distributions predicted KEGG pathways along four consistently enrichment biodegradation carbon- nitrogen-containing compounds. major contaminants removed from biochemical pathway xenobiotics metabolism. This Level 2 mainly owned 3 benzoate degradation, drug metabolism-other enzymes, metabolism-cytochrome P450, metabolism cytochrome aminobenzoate degradation.
