To evaluate the effects of type and proportion bulking agents on compost maturity, chicken manure feedstock (J) was selected as main raw material for aerobic composting, wood chips (M), straw (S), cornmeal (Y) were used agents. The ratios to three set at 1:3, 1:1, 3:1, respectively. mixture composed (M) in a 1:1 ratio exhibited highest temperature (75 °C). treatment with bulking-agent-to-feedstock 3:1 lowest (52 °C) longest high-temperature period (about 10 days). Moreover, seed germination index (1.32), while GI values all treatments did not meet standard requirements (0.4). predominant microorganisms included Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria. total carbon transformation-related microorganism abundance MJ31, SJ31, YJ31 1.65%, 10.69%, 3%, Further analysis showed that bioavailability strongly correlated maturity. GI, also bioavailability. These results can guide selection appropriate agent optimal ratio, offering new direction optimization composting process.

Food waste requires pretreatment before composting due to its high moisture, oil, and salt content. Wastewater from (FWPW) has organic content (COD > 80 g/L) further treatment. The performance variations in dissolved matter (DOM) an anaerobic dynamic membrane bioreactor (AnDMBR) treating FWPW were investigated along with the impact of loading rate (OLR) system. results showed that, at stable stage, when OLR reaches 6.07 kg COD m−3d−1, average removal efficiency was 95.3 %, a methane production 0.21 L g−1COD removed. effluent volatile fatty acid concentration below 560 mg L−1 primarily comprised acetate propionate. proportion DOM large (100–500 kDa) medium (10–100 molecular weight (MW) mixed liquor decreased by 7.0 5.5 respectively, whereas MW (> 500 14.8 %. fluorescence spectra revealed only one humic-like peak samples, exhibiting higher intensity humification index than influent. At shock loads system could withstand maximum 11.71 increases caused reactor acidification failure. This study offers new strategies for optimal treatment holds promise guiding industrial application AnDMBRs.
